HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

Established in 2025, FIRPON's first endeavour is to bring the light back to the somewhat mythical Filosof Lamp, created by the notorious architect Lars-Erik Ejlers (1948–2024). Lars-Erik Ejlers carried the lamp with him wherever he went, from the bar at Hotel D’Angleterre to Holstein Bodega, turning Copenhagen’s nightlife into his personal showroom. To own a Filosof Lamp was to own a piece of a story, as it was often purchased directly from him during a late-night visit to a city bar, making it both rare and iconic. FRIPON now carries his vision forward, bringing the Filosof Lamp back to shine in modern spaces.

Layers of Light creates sculptural wall lamps where art and precise engineered illumination merge. Each piece is built from carefully calculated layers of light, transforming the wall into a composition of depth, shadow, and reflection. Inspired by natural light phenomena, the work evokes a sensory response — light that can be felt as much as seen. These pieces replace traditional wall art while fundamentally reshaping the atmosphere of a space.

Lapuan Kankurit is a linen and wool weaving mill based in Lapua, Finland. Their roots go all the way back to 1917, and today the company is led by the fourth generation. Together with top designers and professionals in the weaving industry, they weave sauna and spa textiles as well as wool blankets and other interior textiles from natural raw materials. They carry the responsibility of passing on the craftsmanship of weaving to the future generations. Lapuan Kankurit weaves responsibly, respecting the environment while continuously developing new innovations and techniques. They weave Nordic design, inspired by pure nature. To balance out the chilling climate of the north, they weave heaps of warmth and softness into their textiles.

Summer Nights is a curated spatial installation presented during 3daysofdesign. Located opposite Kongens Have and Rosenborg Castle, the exhibition examines the atmosphere of a summer night in Copenhagen through material presence and spatial composition. Founded in 2018, the curtain studio &Drape creates atmosphere and well-being through made-to-measure curtains in private and professional spaces. With background in design and roots in an old curtain family, &Drape represents a contemporary and curated aesthetic approach to made-to-measure curtains. The founders Julie Vendal & Nadia Al Zagir Balling and their team, customize each curtain styling solution with care to the specific project, creating curtains that shape atmosphere, spark emotion and enhance the personal identity and spatial experience of a space.

Elvang creates responsibly produced textiles which combine timeless Nordic design with exquisite Peruvian craftsmanship. Its story is one of ethics, integrity and respect. It began in 2002, when the founders Tina and Lasse Elvang learned about the qualities of alpaca wool during a backpacking trip to Peru. Today the textiles are sold worldwide, and their social and environmental commitment remains unchanged. Making responsible choices lies at the heart of Elvang. This has led to the highest level of recognition within the World Fair Trade Organisation (WFTO) as a Guaranteed Member and participation in the UN Global Compact Initiative, ensuring that their supply chains and business model put people, the planet and animals first.
