HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

Un’common is a Polish design studio creating furniture from the finest materials such as marble, wood, and steel. At the core of the brand lies stone, the starting point of its design language and the essence of its identity. The founders believe that furniture should be more than well–designed functional objects; it should be a feast for the senses. It should evoke emotion and offer a tactile, multi–sensory experience. Few materials achieve this as powerfully as marble. Timeless, refined, and natural, marble has been used for centuries in architecture, art, and everyday life. Its weight, structure, and inherent imperfections give Un’common’s designs a sense of permanence and quiet sophistication.

Kateha is a Swedish family–owned company designing and creating rugs. At Kateha, a rug is the beginning of a room. A quiet foundation that holds space together, anchoring stories to the floor. Material Matters is a platform dedicated to exploring the role of material intelligence in architecture and design. With more than 150 podcasts published and four acclaimed editions of its annual fair staged in London, the brand made its international debut in Copenhagen in 2025 as part of 3daysofdesign. The debut fair exceeded expectations and confirmed the appetite for a deeper, more material–led conversation during Copenhagen's design festival. Building on this success, Material Matters returns to 3daysofdesign, reflecting design and architecture's fascination with what materials can do—and what they should no longer be asked to do.
