HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

Matre is a Norwegian furniture and design brand committed to reviving Norway’s rich design heritage through timeless, high–quality pieces made to be cherished for generations. Founded in 2023 by Elizabeth Matre–Aas and Ole Kristian Bergsjø Aas, the brand collaborates with esteemed designers and the historic Vatne factory to produce both rediscovered and contemporary design classics entirely in Norway. All materials are traceable to their origin, and Matre holds the “Made in Norway” quality label. Signature striped textiles, developed with Innvik and designer Saga Nilsson, give the collection a distinctive identity.

Arthur Rottier is a designer and product developer based in Arnhem, the Netherlands. His practice moves between commissioned work and self–initiated projects, driven by an interest in how objects can be conceived and produced locally using contemporary means. The work is defined by advanced, computer–controlled engineering and production methods, careful finishing, and a restrained approach to form. Durability is central: materials are chosen for wear resistance, constructions are clear and legible, and connections are simple. Affordability is considered part of the design challenge. At the core of the practice lies the belief that beauty is essential to sustainability. Objects that are valued are cared for, and what is cared for lasts.

Since its inception in 1960, Expormim has consistently embraced a global perspective on design, craftsmanship and innovation. Its collections comprise original pieces for both indoor and outdoor use, rooted in a strong commitment to environmental sustainability, quality and good design. Fantoni Group specialises in the manufacture of office furniture, partition walls, sound–absorbent systems, MDF, chipboard and laminates. With the support of the Groups’ network of companies, which work synergistically for the integrated development of its products, Fantoni performs all stages of the production process in–house and, thanks to its eight hydroelectric power plants, five cogeneration plants and two photovoltaic systems, it contributes significantly to its own energy requirements and implements a system designed to constantly improve its performance. Having received the Compasso d’Oro award for lifetime achievement in 1998 from ADI, Fantoni Group has become a reference point due to the intense activity of its Research Centre.

COR Sitzmöbel stands for interior design culture, aesthetic appeal and excellent seating comfort. The premium brand has been owner–managed since it was established in 1954. COR Sitzmöbel manufactures excellent quality seating and upholstered furniture for international markets at its production facility in Rheda–Wiedenbrück, Germany. The famous classic sofa Conseta is part of the product range since 1964. All upholstered furniture products have the Blue Angel eco–label seal of approval and the Greenguard Gold certificate. The production site has been climate–neutral through offsetting since 2020.

New Light Pottery is a lighting manufacturer based in the ancient former Japanese capital of Nara. Founded in 2015 by designers Hiroyuki Nagatomi and Chizu Nara, the company creates understated designs that highlight the textures and natural beauty of brass, glass, ceramic and traditional Japanese washi paper. Each lamp is handcrafted in Japan by skilled artisans. Supporting Japanese craftsmanship and the artisans who keep these traditions alive has been central to New Light Pottery’s mission from the very beginning. Keeping production in Japan also allows for minor adjustments, special orders and unique finishes.
