HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

The French Embassy in Denmark is located in the Thott Palace, a remarkable 17th century historical building on Kongens Nytorv, in the heart of Copenhagen. The palace has housed the embassy for a century, and has since its origins been a symbol of the strong ties between France and Denmark. All year round, the Embassy opens its doors to the public on the occasion of various cultural events and has showcased French designers as part of 3daysofdesign every year since the festival began. Institut français is the French cultural center in Denmark, and also functions as the French Embassy's cultural department. The institute's mission is to promote French culture, language and research to the Danish public.

Seino Takashi Design is a design company founded in Chiba, Japan, in 2020 by Takashi Seino. Guided by the theme of universality, the studio works across interior and product design, carefully considering the relationship between people, objects and spaces while valuing materials. Its designs emerge through dialogue, embracing clients, users, materials and nature. The philosophy is inspired by the Japanese concept Sampō Yoshi—“good for the seller, good for the buyer, and good for society.” This principle guides the studio beyond profit, encouraging meaningful contributions to society and fostering long–term relationships built on trust.

Matre is a Norwegian furniture and design brand committed to reviving Norway’s rich design heritage through timeless, high–quality pieces made to be cherished for generations. Founded in 2023 by Elizabeth Matre–Aas and Ole Kristian Bergsjø Aas, the brand collaborates with esteemed designers and the historic Vatne factory to produce both rediscovered and contemporary design classics entirely in Norway. All materials are traceable to their origin, and Matre holds the “Made in Norway” quality label. Signature striped textiles, developed with Innvik and designer Saga Nilsson, give the collection a distinctive identity.

Today, Emanuele Pantanella Design continues his legacy through his family and Creative Director Claudia d’Oncieu, working with skilled Italian artisans. NORDST – Nordic Style, established in 2016 in Copenhagen, expresses a profound admiration for the Danish Design tradition. Over the years, it has operated as an OEM manufacturer for numerous leading furniture brands and continues to do so. The recent physical inauguration of its showroom on Grønningen in Central Copenhagen provides an excellent opportunity to introduce our their designs, grounded in its core principles. At NORDST, every design is seen as a challenge to be overcome through resilience and innovation. The company maintains its own production facilities in both Asia and Europe, ensuring that all designs are developed in-house without compromising quality.The primary material used in designs is natural stones in all shapes.
