HOUE, a Danish design house established in 2007, is rooted in the country’s rich furniture tradition. Dedicated to creating high–quality, affordable furniture, HOUE combines thoughtful design with durability and functionality. With a strong commitment to responsible production, each collection meets the highest standards of craftsmanship, ensuring pieces that enhance living spaces with both style and longevity.

During 3daysofdesign HOUE opens the doors to their showroom in District Nordhavn. The venue will be transformed into outdoor living spaces and will present new launches of outdoor furniture.

Since launching in 2016, RYE has been driven by a thoughtful approach to design within the bedroom. Inspired by history and analog traditions, RYE is less concerned with questions of what a bed can do, but rather with what a bed should be—a quiet refuge—framing sleep through an emphasis on slowness, serene geometries and a tactile depth. Every piece is made at the brand's own production facilities located in the scenic Danish Lake Highlands, where their skilled craftsmen and women are refining a variety of locally sourced materials.

The Sound of Material will explore ideas centred on craftsmanship, techniques and processes. The group exhibition will be focusing on both traditional handwork and innovative practices, the works presented invite and encourage us to engage with them. With this, the exhibition asks us to think about the transformative qualities of the materials present, the intricacy or simplicity of the techniques on display, and to appreciate of the power of the objects present in our lives. Bringing together a dynamic group of designers and makers who work with ceramics, textiles, lighting, furniture, glasswork, paper and more, the exhibition will be curated by Natalia Sánchez.

EMFIMA Collection is a Nordic agency company started in September 2016 and today represent the known Italian manufacturers Luceplan, Pedrali, Contardi Lighting and Fantoni. All manufacturers are already on the Nordic markets, but now also represented in Denmark through the EMFIMA Collection. In addition, EMFIMA Collection has entered into a distributor agreement with the Swedish company BOOM Interiør, on the Danish market. The EMFIMA Collection exclusively offers products with a high design profile and complete unique functions. The focus is on high–quality products and exceptional design, with carefully selected brands distributed through a professional and quality–conscious dealer network throughout Denmark.

David Trubridge is an internationally renowned lighting designer who is resolute in his mission to create sustainably produced products with a natural and organic aesthetic. Trubridge believes that the combination of these two principles directly affects the product’s sustainability, maintaining that consumers are less likely to discard products that are beautiful. His work came to prominence in 2001 when the Italian design house Cappellini bought the rights for his steambent ash recliner. The Coral light followed in 2003, establishing a blueprint for kitset products that minimised their environmental footprint. The company is proud to be B-Corp certified and hold Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).
