HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

From the wood base to the linen shade: a local network of craftsmen turns every lamp into a unique piece. No two are the same. PAP DECO is a family–run Polish manufactory that has become a pioneer in creating hand–carved furniture handles and wall decorations using traditional casting techniques. With more than 30 years of experience in metallurgy, the brand has been evolving across generations, with its founders—brothers Piotr and Marcin Papliński—working alongside their father, Jerzy, who instilled in them a passion for working with noble brass. The pieces crafted directly by the artisans are artistic objects with ergonomic functions, each one a timeless example of functional art. PAP DECO creates not only unique brass handles and decorations with sculptural forms, but also other fully personalised ornamental elements.

David Valner has a background in glass design, sculpture, fine arts, and interactive media. David has grown up in a glassmaker family, in the midst of a swarm of traditional artisans–glass lovers, feeling and watching the physical and metaphorical fire of creation. At the centre of his current approach to glass stands respect for the material as an originally free and fluid mass. Endlessly inspired by nature, he creates collections of objects in which each item is an original and defects are embraced as deeply meaningful and inspirational testimonies to artisan glass making as opposed to mass production.

ELVO was founded in 1923 by Valdemar Martin Ørstrup, who named the company after four of his children: Ellen, Leo, Villy, and Orla. The company remained family-owned until 2019 and has, throughout the years, supplied boxes to many historic and creative workplaces across Denmark. With a new group of owners, ELVO has moved after 70 years on Uplandsgade to an industrial courtyard on Islands Brygge in Copenhagen, where all of our products are handmade. At the factory, Elvo welcomes visitors into a space that radiates history and a passion for the traditional craft of box-making. Elvo aims to challenge the throwaway culture and create classic products that age gracefully.
