HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

Exakt MFG is a brand combining artisanry and state of the art industrial technology. The design principle is based on a pursuit of beauty and the tools are reduction, practicality and longevity. Every piece is designed and manufactured in-house in southern Sweden, drawing on decades of making high-end bespoke furniture and kitchens. No external factories, no gap between intention and execution. The same hands follow each object from first sketch to finished surface. Beautiful objects are resolved objects — every element present because it earns its place, nothing added to compensate for what isn't working underneath.

New Light Pottery is a lighting manufacturer based in the ancient former Japanese capital of Nara. Founded in 2015 by designers Hiroyuki Nagatomi and Chizu Nara, the company creates understated designs that highlight the textures and natural beauty of brass, glass, ceramic and traditional Japanese washi paper. Each lamp is handcrafted in Japan by skilled artisans. Supporting Japanese craftsmanship and the artisans who keep these traditions alive has been central to New Light Pottery’s mission from the very beginning. Keeping production in Japan also allows for minor adjustments, special orders and unique finishes.

Akua Objects was founded in 2022 by Annika Zobel Agerled and Josefine Arthur in Copenhagen, driven by a desire to create something meaningful and lasting. With a vision to design poetic tableware, Akua blends thoughtful design with master craftsmanship. Annika leads creative direction, while Josefine guides the brand as CEO. Collaborating with glassmakers in Murano and Bohemia, each piece balances artistry and utility, whispering tales of warmth and nostalgia. RERO glass is a public access studio that works exclusively with recycle glass. RERO Glass explores themes of eco–friendly consumption while collaborating with universities and international artists and designers. Frederik has set RERO up to invite artists, designers, architects and students in to explore the material and research techniques and collaborate. Besides making products and projects the studio offers workshops, events, and university programs on a regular basis, now hosting close to 2500 people yearly. Currently RERO is launching a new endeavour; lighting. Collaborations, connections and concepts, all in recycle glass and on a global scale.
