HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

With experience and passion in working with solid wood, ZEITRAUM stands for a modern, reduced design language and sustainable approach. Founded in 1990, it was the first German furniture manufacturer to focus on combining ecology and design. Sustainability is not a trend but a fundamental corporate philosophy. Solid hardwoods from renewable sources are processed into furniture of lasting value by combining knowledge of materials with contemporary design. No chemical treatment of the wood is used. Due to solid wood's high reparability and their products' modular construction, the repair is easy and possible at any time. In cooperation with selected designers, ZEITRAUM develops high–quality furniture for living areas and contract sectors.

Kast is an award-winning British brand known for its sculptural concrete basins, combining architectural form with meticulous craftsmanship. Designed and handcrafted in Nottinghamshire, each piece is produced in-house before being shipped to projects worldwide. As the first brand to create a dedicated collection of concrete wash basins, Kast redefined the material, transforming concrete from industrial to expressive. Today, the collection spans a wide range of forms and a palette of 28 colours, revealing the depth, texture and individuality of concrete. With over two decades of expertise, Kast continues to explore the boundaries of form, colour and craft.

Ariake is a Japanese furniture brand founded by Legnatec and Hirata Chair, two manufacturers from the furniture–producing town of Morodomi in Saga Prefecture, each with over four decades of craft heritage. The brand takes its name from the Ariake Sea; “ariake” also means daybreak, marking a new chapter for its founding makers. The collection is developed under the creative direction of Gabriel Tan, in close collaboration with Morodomi's craftsmen and an international roster of designers, with the aim of creating new Japanese design icons. Each piece balances delicacy with structural precision, with careful attention to wood joinery, combining hand and machine production in equal measure.

For this year’s 3daysofdesign, House of Finn Juhl collaborates with Edition Copenhagen, one of the leading lithographic workshops in the world. The collaboration is rooted in a workshop theme, based on a shared respect for traditional craftsmanship and the preservation of specialised skills. As the custodian of Finn Juhl’s legacy, House of Finn Juhl works to maintain and communicate the principles that defined his approach: a close relationship between design, making, and material understanding. Balancing artistic vision with functional form, the presentation reflects Finn Juhl’s continued relevance across generations.

Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design, and paving the way for more eco-conscious solutions. Iteration Collective hope to inspire future generations of designers and contribute to the dialogue surrounding design and sustainability.

Finarte is Finland's leading design house for rugs and soft accessories, creating award–winning interior items for a joyful living. Founded in 1985 and now in the second generation, Finarte is a forerunner in sustainability, championing the use of recycled textiles and natural materials since its inception four decades ago. Inspired by Finnish weaving traditions, especially the räsymatto (rag rug), Finarte collaborates with Finnish designers and Indian artisans to reinterpret traditional craftsmanship, redefining Nordic design as they blend heritage with avant–garde aesthetics. Celebrating over 40 years of rug know–how, Finarte continues to create bold and colourful collections that bring warmth and personality to any space.
