HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

VÆRKTØJ is an exhibition format that aims to communicate and demonstrate how the identities of designers are largely shaped by the tools they use; as tools not only drive the development of ideas and creative processes but also leave a distinct mark on the final product.

FRAMING is a joint exhibition during 3daysofdesign, presenting exclusive design brands and their latest novelties in an inspiring and relevant setting. The Odd Fellow Palace once again forms the backdrop for FRAMING, with all three floors of the impressive Rococo building from the mid–18th century, including its two wings, offering both indoor and outdoor exhibition spaces for national and international brands alike. In addition, a solo exhibition will take place at Harsdorff House on Kongens Nytorv, just a short walk from the main exhibition on Bredgade. This year marks the sixth edition of FRAMING, featuring more than 40 exhibiting brands.

THE SWISS ATELIER is Switzerland’s official presence at 3daysofdesign, celebrating the country’s innovative and refined approach to design. It takes place in two prime locations in the heart of the festival: THE EMBASSY ATELIER at the Embassy of Switzerland, Store Kongensgade 128, and THE SWISS COFFEE ATELIER at Original Coffee, Store Kongensgade 124, each offering a distinct experience that highlights Swiss creativity, craftsmanship and design excellence.

The concept behind Woodnotes, established in 1987, is to combine artistic creativity inspired by Finland’s rugged nature with technology to shape beautiful local raw materials. The softness of wool, the purity of paper and the glow of linen define a collection of timeless products with rare aesthetic quality. Woodnotes’ unique paper yarn innovation results in durable, allergy–friendly designer rugs and blinds made from paper yarn and cotton. These are presented alongside outdoor rugs, tufted wool–linen carpets, and atelier–woven rugs in cotton–paper and wool–paper yarns, among others.

Maison Arpelli brings powerful aesthetic appeal to your living spaces with designer furniture that is visually stunning and boldly coloured. Inspired by the Art Deco movement, it reappropriates its exquisite geometry and harmonious proportions, reinventing it in a minimalist style that provoke a vivid emotion. Arnaud Pellissier, its designer, carefully designs and manufactures each piece in his workshop in France. Having chosen steel, he modernises this traditional and noble material to create curves of great finesse. His methods produce high–quality finishes while ensuring comfort and aesthetics in the seating and ergonomics in use. Iteration Collective is a newly established design collective of young designers. The community has emerged from a shared desire to create and challenge each other, pushing creative boundaries to enhance their skills as designers. Through close collaboration, members tackle new design challenges, each producing original works based on a shared design brief with defined constraints and objectives. Recognising the importance of responsible design practices, the group is dedicated to exploring new approaches, challenging conventional norms in furniture design, and paving the way for more eco-conscious solutions. Iteration Collective hope to inspire future generations of designers and contribute to the dialogue surrounding design and sustainability.

Since 2007, the company has been led by the Cassina family holding—strengthening a vision rooted in simplicity, lightness of form and design challenge, refining a minimalist approach with a more sophisticated, warm character. MDF Italia’s collections are conceived to last beyond trends, adapting naturally to different contexts, from residential spaces to work and hospitality settings. In 2019, MDF Italia acquired Acerbis, an Italian company with over 150 years of history, marking the meeting of two realities united by shared values of design and innovation.
