HOUE

HOUE is a Danish design house established in 2007 and rooted in the Scandinavian design tradition. HOUE creates outdoor furniture that combines comfort, durability, and a calm visual expression. Each design is developed with careful attention to materials, proportion, and function, balancing aesthetics with everyday usability. With a strong commitment to responsible production, HOUE integrates recycled materials and thoughtful solutions to create long–lasting products made for real outdoor living—designed to be used, enjoyed, and built to last.

During 3daysofdesign, HOUE opens the doors to its showroom in District Nordhavn. The space is set to transform into outdoor living spaces and new products will be launched.

Jan Kath Design has revolutionised the world of rugs. For nearly 30 years, the brand has been shaping the international design scene with its work. While the creative language spans a broad spectrum, production remains deliberately rooted in tradition. Each carpet is crafted using centuries–old hand–knotting techniques in selected workshops in Nepal and India, certified for sustainability by the Swiss label STEP. Knot by knot, skilled artisans translate the designs into textile art. Only premium natural materials are used, including hand–combed Tibetan highland wool, fine Chinese silk, and Nepalese nettle. This balanced material composition gives the rugs a distinctive tactile quality and a deep, layered presence beyond the surface.

Objects May Vary is an cross–disciplinary collaborative exhibition platform dedicated to experimental design . It invites independent and emerging designers to respond to a single object typology, using it as a starting point rather than a fixed brief. The platform is founded on the belief that typologies are not limitations but generative frameworks: recurring forms that, when questioned, open space for new ideas, materials, and approaches.

BEFORE VINTAGE FURNITURE is a Japanese furniture brand based in Hokkaido, Japan, creating furniture from valuable wood that has lost its place in the market due to irregular grain, color variations, or other characteristics often overlooked by conventional standards. Through traditional Japanese joinery, architectural thinking, and careful craftsmanship, these materials are given a new purpose and a longer future. PBJ is known for making modern home furniture inspired by classic Danish design and they now also expands into commercial interiors. Each piece meets strict sustainability standards, including testing of surfaces, durability and strengths. The Ukraine House in Denmark is a Ukrainian cultural diplomacy institution with a mission to deepen Ukrainian–Danish cooperation in the field of culture and creative industries for sustainable peace in Europe. Located in the Gammel Dok in the centre of Copenhagen, since 2023 Ukraine House hosted more than 16.500 guests, held 14 exhibitions of Ukrainian contemporary art, architecture, design, photography, organised more than 209 dialogues, panel discussions, lectures, and presentations, and integrated Ukrainian content into leading Danish cultural platforms, such as the Copenhagen Democracy Summit, Copenhagen Architecture Festival, Kulturnatten, Copenhagen Photography Festival, and 3daysofdesign.
