Since founding his studio in 2007 Lee Broom has created over 100 lighting, furniture and accessories, all designed by Lee himself and retailed around the world. Combining craft, materiality and innovation, the products are Made in Britain by hand at the Lee Broom factory in East London. Exhibiting collections globally, Lee Broom has gained a reputation for creating conceptual dynamic installations which are surreal, experiential and unexpected. The brand’s signature mix of classicism and modernity has garnered over 40 awards including British Designer of the Year and The Queen’s Award for Enterprise presented by Her Majesty The Queen at Buckingham Palace.
Renowned British designer Lee Broom presents his highly anticipated new show, ‘From Here Now' at the historic Asia House, the first time the venue has been open during 3daysofdesign. Lee Broom will take over the entire house, transforming it into a cohesive showcase of his work. Visitors will encounter an explorer’s abandoned home, filled with artworks and artefacts, illuminated by the brand's lighting with a Lee Broom Tea Room to relax in. Featuring over 70 lighting pieces, new products and the global debut of a brand new portable table lamp ‘Chant’, the exhibition will take visitors on an immersive journey, reflecting on the past, showcasing the present, and offering a vision of what lies ahead.
