String Furniture is a Swedish design company producing a range of modern classics and contemporary furniture brands. More than 95% of its furniture is made in Sweden, using renewable, recyclable or recycled materials. String has earned a place in design history thanks to the elegant simplicity and ingenious construction of its systems, which can be assembled in countless configurations and remain as relevant today as when first introduced in 1949. The collection includes Pira G2, originally conceived by Olle Pira in 1954 and reinterpreted in 2023 by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström, as well as Museum, designed for the reopening of the Swedish Nationalmuseum, and Relief, a modular system created by TAF Studio.
Swedish design company String Furniture will exhibit at FRAMING, in the ‘Annex’. This year, the brand will showcase the modernist classic String, from 1949, in an all new dark grey tones, as well as the new String Pocket Stockholm series inspired by the Swedish capital. The space itself will be transformed into a ‘modern office’ focusing on the modular Center Center, designed by Form Us with Love, combined with the classic Pira G2 from 1954 and Relief by TAF Studio. Finally, find a curious installation with the idiosyncratic Museum range, by TAF Studio.
