Troldtekt designs, develops and manufactures acoustic panels made from Danish wood and cement. Troldtekt’s mission is to increase the acoustic comfort in buildings as well as securing a healthy indoor climate – while also providing architects with a wide range of design choices.

For 85 years, LK Hjelle has been crafting long–lasting furniture with a commitment to Norwegian craftsmanship. Paper Collective is the original Copenhagen curator of modern art prints. Since 2013 they have collaborated with artists, architects, designers and brands to create collections of original artworks and art solutions, all at a great price. The Sound of Material will explore ideas centred on craftsmanship, techniques and processes. The group exhibition will be focusing on both traditional handwork and innovative practices, the works presented invite and encourage us to engage with them. With this, the exhibition asks us to think about the transformative qualities of the materials present, the intricacy or simplicity of the techniques on display, and to appreciate of the power of the objects present in our lives. Bringing together a dynamic group of designers and makers who work with ceramics, textiles, lighting, furniture, glasswork, paper and more, the exhibition will be curated by Natalia Sánchez.

MANU builds object-to-human relationships. Their objects are all ‘characters’ to live alongside — not bought and sold, but adopted. Working across waste streams, the material becomes both the starting point and the guide, allowing its limitations to shape the design of each object. They craft objects from PET bottles, lemon peels, or sand — depending on what’s available around them. MANU believes this philosophy can help us rediscover the value of finite raw materials, encouraging more respect and care for the objects we live with.

In differential geometry, the Grassmann product—represented by a wedge—constructs higher–dimensional objects through the addition of existing dimensions. WEDGE channels this mathematical operation as both metaphor and method.
