Troldtekt designs, develops and manufactures acoustic panels made from Danish wood and cement. Troldtekt’s mission is to increase the acoustic comfort in buildings as well as securing a healthy indoor climate – while also providing architects with a wide range of design choices. Since 2012, Troldtekt has placed the design concept Cradle to Cradle® at the heart of its business strategy. This means a continuous focus on adding value for the environment, for society and for business. The combination of wood and cement creates unique sound absorbing properties, ensuring good acoustics in any room. The material has a resilience and can handle moist environments while providing effective fire protection.

During 3daysofdesign Troldtekt will be presenting an inspiring installation among the beautiful old sculptures in the Lapidarium of Kings. Here you can experience good acoustics and distinctive design, and installations created using Danish red spruce, which for 90 years has been one of the raw materials in Troldtekt acoustic panels. The design hub at District Kultur is open to the public during 3daysofdesign. A couple of kilometres from the royal sculptures, you can find Troldtekt’s very showroom that presents a complete spectrum of possibilities for designing stylish rooms with good acoustics.
