Danish Industry (DI) is Denmark’s largest business and employers’ organization, representing over 20.000 companies, from small startups to global leaders. Democratically governed by its members, DI evolves to meet the dynamic needs of the business community. At 3daysofdesign, DI showcases pioneering companies renowned worldwide for their design excellence and innovation. By highlighting these creative businesses, DI helps turn groundbreaking ideas into lasting global impact, reinforcing Denmark’s reputation as a hub for high–quality, sustainable design. DI is excited to invite participants to experience a unique ‘floating showcase’ in the heart of Copenhagen, aboard a historic barge in Nyhavn.

During 3daysofdesign, Danish Industry is excited to welcome participants to one of the most unique settings of this year’s edition.Together with several members, Danish Industry will be showcasing on Bådteatret—the Boat Theater—in the heart of Nyhavn, Denmark’s most photographed attraction. Visitors arriving at the boat will experience outstanding craftsmanship, both on and below deck. In a country known for its design heritage and scenic coastline, there’s no better way to unite these than with a floating exhibition during 3daysofdesign. Throughout the festival, Danish Industry will host engaging talks, sessions, and receptions with our public and private partners—making the Boat Theater a must–visit at this year’s festival.

PANI JUREK is a design studio combined with a ceramics workshop, run by Magda Jurek and Michał Borecki. It operates at the intersection of design, craftsmanship, and art. The objects created by Studio Pani Jurek go beyond their stereotypical functions, with interactivity being an inherent feature. Conceived as elements of spatial compositions, they often change depending on their surroundings and users. A distinctive trait of the studio’s projects is colour—a result of Magda Jurek’s background in painting. While functionality is not the starting point in the creation process, it is never neglected. Ergonomics and design discipline help tame imagination and material.
