Founded in 1898, Dinesen is a family–run Danish company with 128 years of experience crafting high–quality wooden products. With its HQ and production site in southern Denmark, Dinesen is known for bespoke wooden floors and surfaces, made from carefully selected trees from responsibly managed Western European forests. Rooted in curiosity, care, and responsibility, Dinesen honours its heritage while pushing boundaries to unlock the full potential of wood. The company collaborates with architects, designers, and artists to reimagine the material, reflecting a genuine appreciation for it.

Dinesen unveils a transformed interior in the Gallery wing of its Copenhagen Showroom, designed by Office Kim Lenschow. The Gallery aims to evoke the unexpected. Emphasising materials, Lenschow revitalises what already exists. A layered experience unfolds with vertical and horizontal wooden surfaces flanked by Blēo–coloured walls. Final details become apparent when looking up, where gentle lighting and soft framework by LEGIO, Viabizzuno and Kvadrat enclose the space. In this setting, Dinesen introduces wall and ceiling cladding, showcased through handcrafted solutions in collaboration with Vahle, creating space for new vertical product displays. Next door, Dinesen Apartment by John Pawson offers the familiar.

Jan Kath Design has revolutionised the world of rugs. For nearly 30 years, the brand has been shaping the international design scene with its work. While the creative language spans a broad spectrum, production remains deliberately rooted in tradition. Each carpet is crafted using centuries–old hand–knotting techniques in selected workshops in Nepal and India, certified for sustainability by the Swiss label STEP. Knot by knot, skilled artisans translate the designs into textile art. Only premium natural materials are used, including hand–combed Tibetan highland wool, fine Chinese silk, and Nepalese nettle. This balanced material composition gives the rugs a distinctive tactile quality and a deep, layered presence beyond the surface.
