Galleri Sonja is visiting from Bornholm. Once a saddle maker’s shop from the early 1800s, Galleri Sonja is now a place where craft, culture, and community meet in the gentle rhythm of slow living. The gallery is not only a space for experiencing art, it is also a space where knowledge of craft is shared and passed on. Through exhibitions and conversations, Galleri Sonja helps preserve and expand understanding of traditional and contemporary craft. Fornace Brioni was founded in 1920, following the acquisition of the so-called “Fornacione” (according to certain documents still stands on its original location of 1883). The family-run company is now in its fourth generation, headed by Alessio and Alberto Brioni, who are planning the future of cotto maintaining their strong link with the past. Fornace Brioni is a leader in the renovation of old flooring, and has over the years carried out constant research on the potential of this material that produces in several versions, ranging from uniform and variegated cotto to glazed versions. The products of Fornace Brioni have been selected by architects all over the world for use in contemporary and timeless interiors.

Grythyttan Stålmöbler is one of Sweden’s oldest furniture manufacturers, with a long tradition of craftsmanship and Scandinavian design. For more than a century, the furniture has been handcrafted in Grythyttan using carefully selected wood and spring steel. This unique combination makes the chairs and tables exceptionally durable and weather-resistant, designed to last for generations. The characteristic gentle rocking motion of the chairs is created by the carefully shaped spring steel frame—a detail that still requires skilled craftsmanship. During 3daysofdesign, Grythyttan Stålmöbler presents Bovik, a new addition that reflects its heritage while introducing a contemporary expression to outdoor living.

Pit–To–Table is a materials manufacturer transforming agricultural waste into sustainable interior surfaces. Produced in Cyprus, Pit–Board is a bio–composite panel made from discarded olive pits sourced from local olive farms. By turning an abundant by–product of the olive industry into a functional design material, Pit–To–Table supports circular production and reduces waste. Designed for interior architecture and furniture applications, Pit–Board combines natural texture with durability and a warm, distinctive appearance. The material offers designers a renewable alternative to conventional boards while connecting contemporary spaces to Mediterranean agricultural heritage.

Kaikale is an India-based furniture brand rooted in local craftsmanship and people-driven making. In collaboration with the Scandinavian architect Alexander Mihel, the work brings together traditional Indian carpentry and Scandinavian design principles. Kaikale x Alexander Mihel presents a furniture collection developed over 2,5 years through a hands-on collaborative process. The collection is made using carpentry-based methods, working with established hardwoods and also experimenting with non-forest timber such as coconut timber. In India, the coconut tree has traditionally been fully utilised, with every part used. The furniture continues this approach by giving coconut wood a long life as durable, long-lasting pieces.

What began over 20 years ago as a spontaneous experiment in Tom Rossau’s Copenhagen workshop has evolved into a distinctive design philosophy. While shaping wooden slats into a cylindrical form, Tom discovered the expressive potential of light, material, and form, and a new chapter in Danish lighting design was born. Today, the collection has grown to include a wide range of materials and styles, yet the brand remains rooted in curiosity, craftsmanship, and sculptural design. Each lamp is still meticulously designed and handcrafted in Copenhagen, with a strong focus on quality and responsible production, bringing Danish design to interiors around the world.

David Valner has a background in glass design, sculpture, fine arts, and interactive media. David has grown up in a glassmaker family, in the midst of a swarm of traditional artisans–glass lovers, feeling and watching the physical and metaphorical fire of creation. At the centre of his current approach to glass stands respect for the material as an originally free and fluid mass. EETAL is a project launched in 2021 by Japan Benex Corporation, a company specialising in precision sheet metal processing technology. Through collaborations with designers, it reconsiders the creative potential of sheet metal from multiple perspectives. Embracing an experimental approach, the project challenges conventional notions of industrial production and explores new dialogues between sheet metal and design. The name "EETAL" originates from "SHEET METAL." It combines "EET" from "SHEET" and "TAL" from "METAL," forming a coined term that symbolises the new form of sheet metal they strive to create.
