Nada Duele is a sustainable design studio based in Guatemala, dedicated to the creation of design objects and accessories that blend traditional craftsmanship with a contemporary vision. Founded in 2019, the studio collaborates with master artisans across Guatemala to craft unique, responsible, and timeless pieces, ensuring the preservation of traditional crafts while supporting job creation. Since launching in 2016, RYE has been driven by a thoughtful approach to design within the bedroom. Inspired by history and analog traditions, RYE is less concerned with questions of what a bed can do, but rather with what a bed should be—a quiet refuge—framing sleep through an emphasis on slowness, serene geometries and a tactile depth. Every piece is made at the brand's own production facilities located in the scenic Danish Lake Highlands, where their skilled craftsmen and women are refining a variety of locally sourced materials.

Atelier m4 is an award winning, 4th generation furniture brand based in Matsumoto City in Japan. Originating from the 120–year old Maeda Mokugei Studio, atelier m4’s designs are rooted in the style of the Edo samurai and townspeople, characterised by delicate and minimal structures and skilfully joined materials. Perpetually looking to a more sustainable future, atelier m4 have collaborated with researchers and craftsmen to develop new methods to utilise fast–growing coniferous trees and transform discarded wood into elegant, luxurious furniture. Relying solely on hand tools and traditional techniques, atelier m4 creates furniture made with local woods, embodying a deep respect for nature and place and a universal richness in each piece.

David Trubridge is an internationally renowned lighting designer who is resolute in his mission to create sustainably produced products with a natural and organic aesthetic. Trubridge believes that the combination of these two principles directly affects the product’s sustainability, maintaining that consumers are less likely to discard products that are beautiful. His work came to prominence in 2001 when the Italian design house Cappellini bought the rights for his steambent ash recliner. The Coral light followed in 2003, establishing a blueprint for kitset products that minimised their environmental footprint. The company is proud to be B-Corp certified and hold Life Cycle Assessments and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs).

Sibast Furniture is a Danish family company with a proud history of wooden furniture making dating back to 1908. INDALO has two meanings in siSwati: 'nature' and 'to create.' This collective of craft artisans from Eswatini and European designers showcases objects created with sustainable natural materials. Organised by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and founded by the European Union (EU), this exhibition is centred around traditional skills and culture from the Southern African country. The Handcraft company Siyaphambili have collaborated with designers Delphine Meriaux, and Agathe Pautrot to bring new interior design objects to Europe. This collective brings empowerment and social recognition to their work as basket weavers. The Lutindzi grass they collect and weave is a sustainable resource that grows in the wild.

For 3daysofdesign, Johan Borups Højskole opens the doors to its historic mansion in Copenhagen’s District Kultur, inviting visitors to explore two graduation showcases by emerging Nordic voices across disciplines. This semester’s final exhibitions feature projects from Design & Ceramics and Architecture & Arts—two distinct yet connected expressions of artistic education where tradition meets contemporary culture in an open, exploratory atmosphere. Set within the school’s historic courtyard and interiors, the showcases highlight the culmination of a semester shaped by dialogue, curiosity, and craftsmanship. Founded in 1891, Johan Borups' is a Danish ‘højskole’—a creative community based on growth, collab and reflection.

Oxdenmarq was founded in 2003. The goal was to produce reasonably priced furniture from exclusive materials like vegetable tanned saddle leather. Making affordable furniture is a core value OX still pursue in everything they do. Before finishing the design studies at the Copenhagen Design University, Dennis Marquart completed a Blacksmith education. Craftsmanship is a key for OX in everything they do. Many OX products are shaped around marble or vegetable tanned saddle leather. Stone and leather are materials that will and should get marks over time but they will also age with a very special beauty. When you learn to appreciate the beauty of maturity and of time passing, you have learned to appreciate patina the way it should be: appreciated.
