BIRDMIND is a Spanish company developing circular materials for architecture and interior design. Based in Galicia, it transforms agricultural waste into high–performance, sustainable solutions through applied research and industrial processes. Its flagship product, Rice Tab, is a technical board made from rice husks, offering durability, versatility and key properties such as fire resistance, water repellency, anti–fungal performance and being formaldehyde–free. Produced with renewable energy, zero water footprint and a closed–loop system, BIRDMIND materials are designed for real applications in interiors, furniture, retail and contract, demonstrating that sustainability and performance can go hand in hand.

The residence has long served as a distinguished setting for fostering relations between Italy and Denmark, symbolizing the enduring cultural and political ties between the two countries. During 3daysofdesign, the Italian Embassy in Denmark, in collaboration with the Italian Danish design studio Rinata Milano, is proud to present a special exhibition hosted within the elegant reception rooms of its residence in Copenhagen, with the participation of selected representatives of Italian design and craftsmanship.

Arper is a global design brand that envisions products for the way we live. Founded in Italy in 1989 by the Feltrin family, it offers, through empathetic and enduring designs, a perspective on contemporary living that increasingly requires fluidity and versatility. The company views design through the lens of The Project of Living, a strategic approach that explores the application of versatile furnishings that seamlessly accommodate all the different things we do daily and the many spaces in which we do them. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt creates exclusive bespoke lighting pieces. Working with plexiglass and brass, she develops lamps shaped by a close dialogue between colour, transparency, and form. Layered hues and shifting light create depth and visual presence, while patinated brass adds a warmer, tactile tone. Each lamp is a sculptural object that brings a composed architectural presence to a space. She also creates larger installations by grouping multiple lamps. Vibeke Fonnesberg Schmidt collaborates with Nilufar Gallery in Milan and designs for Gubi.
