Their master artisans have hand crafted stunning, custom glass solutions for architects, designers, and visionaries for over 2 decades. As the only artisan glassmaker in the Nordic countries, Essis offers a wide range of basic or custom patterns to use in various glass solutions that are suitable for bespoke projects in public as well as private spaces. For over 50 years, Ingo Maurer has been designing and manufacturing exceptional designer lamps that bridge the gap between everyday objects and art. The Munich-based company's internationally renowned designs can be found in the collections of some of the world's most important museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York. Under the creative direction of Axel Schmid, Head of Product and Project Design, the team develops iconic luminaires that combine technical precision with a playful and often ironic design approach. Ingo Maurer's products are designed to surprise and inspire. As well as creating serial luminaires, the company has also made a name for itself as a designer of public and private spaces around the world.
