BLÆS is located inside the streetfood market Reffen, it is a glassblowing studio build in shipping containers where the traditional craft methods are mastered and developed to produce contemporary designs, unique works and sculptural installations. Le Klint’s origins date back to the beginning of the 20th century, when architect and civil engineer P.V. Jensen-Klint folded the first hand-pleated lampshade for a kerosene lamp that he had designed. Since the establishment of Le Klint in 1943, the design company has focused on excellent craftsmanship and on retaining production in Odense. Over the years, the Le Klint collection has been designed by well-known architects and new designers, and consists of traditional and modern lamps, sold all over the world.

With respect for its 100-year-old box-making heritage, they offer storage solutions for every storage need in today’s cluttered world – at home and in the office. In addition to general storage boxes, they offer a selection of exquisite jewellery boxes, watch boxes and storage on-the-go solutions. Their beautiful objects are either made from upcycled materials sourced from exclusive partners in the European furniture and fashion industry or from oeko-tex-certified leather. Oxdenmarq was founded in 2003. The goal was to produce reasonably priced furniture from exclusive materials like vegetable tanned saddle leather. Making affordable furniture is a core value OX still pursue in everything they do. Before finishing the design studies at the Copenhagen Design University, Dennis Marquart completed a Blacksmith education. Craftsmanship is a key for OX in everything they do. Many OX products are shaped around marble or vegetable tanned saddle leather. Stone and leather are materials that will and should get marks over time but they will also age with a very special beauty. When you learn to appreciate the beauty of maturity and of time passing, you have learned to appreciate patina the way it should be: appreciated.

Copenhagen-based design company FRIPON is relaunching the classic Philosopher Lamp, designed by the Danish architect Lars-Erik Ejlers in the early 1990s. The lamp was originally made for Restaurant Cap Horn in Nyhavn. In the following years, the lamp, designed with a notable brass shade, became a rarity due to very limited distribution but still found its way and is gracing iconic bars and restaurants throughout Copenhagen. FRIPON’s first endeavour is to breathe new life into the classic Philosopher Lamp, once again.

The Philospher Lamp is produced locally in workshops located in the metropolitan area of Copenhagen.

Ukraine House in Denmark (UHD) is a cultural diplomacy institution with a mission to deepen Ukrainian-Danish cooperation in the fields of culture and creative industries. UHD was established in July 2022. In February 2023 the Ministry of Culture of Denmark allocated the former Danish Architecture Center for the implementation of UHD vision and activities. UHD team of 20+ Ukrainian, Danish and international volunteers has since hosted over 6,000 guests; held five exhibitions of Ukrainian contemporary art, photography, architecture and design; organised over fifty panel discussions with more than seventy Ukrainian and Danish experts, parliamentarians, journalists, artists, architects and other opinion leaders.
