For more than 20 years, massimo has been creating handmade sustainable rugs for both private homes and public spaces. When choosing materials, superior quality, well-being, and a positive impact on the environment are the standards we follow. That decision to only work with natural and recycled materials, is rooted in our Scandinavian way of living rather than the latest trends. “We strive to create timeless pieces that will last. We want them to feel current today and, in the years to come. This is why the quality has to be second to none. The choice of weaving technique, strength of the fibers, eco-friendly materials. And this is where we’re really thriving.” - Chim Scavenius Sonne-Schmidt, massimo’s owner

This 3daysofdesign massimo copenhagen invites you to experience a brand new collection of kelim rugs designed by a renowned Danish design studio for massimo. Join them for the launch of the TATAMI Collection that draws inspiration from Tatami mats in traditional Japanese-style rooms. The collection has a very simple, minimal look but it's warm, elevated and grounding at the same time. All rugs are woven by hand to create an authentic look that pairs well with any interior design style.
