Un'common is a polish design studio which creates furniture from finest materials such as marble, wood and steel. Yet the heart of the brand is stone. The founders believe that furniture should not only be well-designed – it should be a feast for the senses. Nothing can produce this effect quite as good as marble. It is a beautiful, refined, natural material that has been used for centuries in architecture, art and everyday life. Given with this opportunity brand tries to rediscover it by working with new forms and textures. During 3daysofdesign Un'common is going to present the new series of furniture made of travertine stone which is going to surprise the viewers with its unique texture.

The LINEE series by Un'common once again explores the possibilities of working with natural stones. This time it's all about travertine. The brand breaks the thinking of stone as a material with a flawless shine and finished with a classic bevel. Uneven and unfinished surfaces remind of the true natural origin of the stone. The raw finish will allow it to affect the senses and the new products will try to find their place in our daily lives. Come and enjoy this new series together with the Un'common team.

Lammhults convinces design as a great potential to improve everyday lives and to contribute to more meaningful and sustainable ways of living. The optimistic spirit is a defining characteristic of Lammhults – a vital part of their heritage since 1945. Lammhults develops contemporary design for various kinds of spaces – public spaces, modern offices, and domestic spaces. Inhabited spaces have a strong influence on oneself. Some spaces make you creative, social, and generous. Others enable you to slow down and to reflect. Lammhults believes in the importance of that space. Good design contributes to shape dwellings and surroundings in ways that are relevant both today and tomorrow.

Founded in 2019, MOTARASU creates lighting, furniture and interior that calls for being present in the now. Fusing the design heritage of Denmark with the aesthetics of Japanese craftsmanship, the efforts are focused on the philosophy of surrounding oneself with few yet beautiful, high-quality objects that bring joy.
Closeness to nature is fundamental to all MOTARASU designs, where material and techniques combine to create tactile and sculptural objects that each place natural materials central to both design and functionality.

During 3daysofdesign MOTARASU launches the new CHO lamp series by Ernst & Jensen. Furthermore new lamps by Tani Toshiyuki will be launched.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks.
