Aesthetics is the sum of the right details. The experience of things that are made for each other and become part of a conscious context in both form and function. That the smallest detail has decisive importance for the big picture. Njordrum Home creates aesthetic, prefabricated, modular homes from wood, where beauty is considered at every stage of the design phase. It is about choosing the best materials and putting them together in a good way. Njordrum Home is also where the team behind ideate, design and develop the products they use to complete their houses. They do this to offer architecture and design where everything is connected and mutually enhance the total experience of the Njordrum Home concept.

The exhibition and the majority of the exhibited products, are part of the newly completed Njordrum Home unique summer house. The installation will showcase the relation and context by the use of design objects, a scale model of the house and pictures from the completed project - to generate a widely spanning exhibition and let visitors dive into both architecture and design and the relation between both.

For his brand named Sheyn, Vienna-based designer Nicolas Gold has created a range of intricately patterned homeware called Tiny Architecture that is made using 3D printing techniques.

Gold trained with Zaha Hadid before founding Sheyn in 2016 with partner Markus Schaffer to focus on creating what they term "Tiny Architecture" — homeware made with an architect's predilection for fussing over the tiniest details of furniture and fixtures.

The collection includes vases, bowls, planters and lighting, all made from a light, sturdy, and recyclable corn-based compound. Every design is 3D printed on demand at Sheyn's studio in the heart of Vienna.

Ambientec, a Japanese light design company founded in 2009, envisions creating portable, indestructible lights with integrated LED technology, maintaining comfort and elegance. This philosophy is evident in its designs, each embracing a poetic quality of light that engages in a friendly dialogue with the illuminated space. Even turned off, Ambientec lights add beauty to any environment.
Originally specializing in protective underwater cases for professional photography equipment, Ambientec's roots contributed expertise in creating portable gear resistant to extreme conditions. This background led to its venture into portable lamp design, exploring new frontiers in lighting for everyday spaces, indoors and outdoors.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks.
