Founded in 1976, Dedar is an Italian textile editor that expresses a personal style with its cutting-edge contemporary collections of fine fabrics, wallcoverings and trimmings. Located close to Como, in the heart of a manufacturing district, Dedar experiments and innovates to attain product perfection through an ongoing dialogue with those craftsmen and textile specialists who are most familiar with the techniques employed in the production of excellent fabrics. The essence of Dedar’s creative spirit is driven by force of expression, passion for precious qualities and a sophisticated colour palette, which together create inspirational future classics.

For 3daysofdesign, Dedar brings in the expressive power of colours, patterns, precious fibre yarns and know-how to the Nordic interior lifestyle. On this occasion, Dedar presents a special collaboration with Gubi, featuring a tactile textile installation with the new tiger motifs of the collection in their iconic fauve colour and paying homage to the most hypnotic and majestic creature on velvets endowed with a strong personality and expressive power. In the artistic surrounding of Elhanati’s jewellery atelier, Dedar and Durup create a universe of light, an immersion in faceted and textural white that has the energy of dawn with White Writings fabrics and gives life to a grand abstract narrative that embraces both brands’ identities.

Created with proprietary technologies, FENIX makes you experience unique features. At first glance, the surfaces strike for their super-matt appearance. By touching them, you feel how pleasantly soft they are, with the further surprise of leaving no fingerprints. Thermal healing of superficial micro-scratches is also possible. Stories coming from different sides of the world are the inspiration behind FENIX timeless palette. Its surfaces are suitable for furnishing and interior fitting with vertical and horizontal applications.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks.
