Anno Studio was founded in 2021 with the vision of relaunching older design classics in a sustainable and updated design. The idea came from a desire to relaunch the iconic furniture Series 600 by Friis & Moltke Architects, which was initially known for schools, conference rooms, and canteens. The close combination of beautiful design and sustainability is the foundation of Anno Studio. Every part of the production focuses on sustainability. They recycle and upcycle materials without compromising on quality. All materials have been carefully considered with a focus on the circular economy. Anno Studio only uses FSC-certified wood; they use residual wood when possible.

During 3daysofdesign, Anno Studio will participate in the exhibition at the Social House on Store Regnegade, along with Fogia, Bernstorffsminde, Mindo, and We Do Wood. The philosophy of Paper Paste Living is to create beautiful and functional home items in circular materials. The core material is a mixture of compressed recycled paper and water without any binders. The paper paste part of the objects are handcrafted in Spain, while all the wood and cardboard are sourced in the Czech Republic. With the Shape of Nature in mind, the products are carefully designed in Denmark by Hans Thyge & Co. The paper used arrived from a KM0 recovery plant near the over 100-year-old production facility just outside of Barcelona. Other materials besides paper are also used, like FSC-certified. For the pouf seat, Italian regenerated cotton in Ivory was used, and it gets its softness from the coconut fibres inside.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2025 the festival will be held from 4 - 6 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks.
