Blå Station is a family business located in what used to be a sewing factory in Åhus—on the southeast coast of Sweden, where the ocean is just as restless as they are. Their focus is on on the interiors that surround us—how they are built and how they work. “How do we interact in the public space? Has today's society added new demands? Has our way of socialising changed?” To meet today's demands and desires, Blå Station believes it is necessary to have an open and innovative mind, a child's curiosity as well as a heart that rejects shortcuts and apathy. Peach Corner is an artist–run exhibition space for artistic materialisations in clay. Peach Corner present the ceramic discipline across craft, design and visual art expressions in what is, obviously, a fairly fluid field. In the permanent exhibition space, Peach Corner organises seven exhibitions a year. During 3daysofdesign, Peach Corner will stage a special exhibition that presents functional ceramics: objects that play a part in acts and utilitarian contexts. Peach Corner wishes to showcase good ceramic ideas, sensuous shapes and clay transformed into form and design with a distinct character and contemporary relevance.

LINTEX manufactures writing boards for schools and offices but bring to this a stringency and subtlety like a well-developed fashion line. They add style and design expertise in a world in which aesthetics have, for years, taken a back seat. Whiteboards, office screens and sound absorbers have been the anonymous carthorses of schools and conference premises. LINTEX have changed all that, aiming to surprise and challenge the image of what a writing board can be.
