Peach Corner is an artist–run exhibition space for artistic materialisations in clay. Peach Corner present the ceramic discipline across craft, design and visual art expressions in what is, obviously, a fairly fluid field. In the permanent exhibition space, Peach Corner organises seven exhibitions a year. During 3daysofdesign, Peach Corner will stage a special exhibition that presents functional ceramics: objects that play a part in acts and utilitarian contexts. Peach Corner wishes to showcase good ceramic ideas, sensuous shapes and clay transformed into form and design with a distinct character and contemporary relevance.
Peach Corner exhibits at Anne Marie Carl–Nielsens Atelier, a large historical studio along the canal in central Copenhagen. Under the exhibition theme of Functional Clay, Peach Corner has invited both young talents and experienced makers and designers who have shown passion for and insight into materials, craftsmanship and functionality and who apply an exploratory and visionary approach in their work. The exhibition presents new works by Amalie Vöge Jensen, Anne Tophøj, Birgit Marie Østerby, Cecilie Manz, Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm, Claydies (Tine Broksø & Karen Kjældgård–Larsen), Depping & Jørgensen (Line Depping & Jakob Jørgensen), Hilda Piazzolla, Jeppe Søndergaard Hansen, Michael Geertsen, Ole Jensen, Petra Dalström, Zuzanna Skurka.
