The mission and calling of Ábbatte is to use manual looms to create lovely textile objects that become part of our lives, transform usefulness into beauty, and leave their mark on our souls—fabrics that closely intertwine an aesthetic perception and a philosophy of life. These exquisitely refined fabrics are pure and genuine beauty, eschewing all ornamentation. They are warm, sophisticated, and restrained. Ábbatte creates these fabrics to be pleasant to the sight as well as to the touch. They envelop us and become our second skin by developing our sense of touch—the most atavistic of the senses—which has an enormous impact on our sensitivity.

Studio Eggi creates space for present living. Eggi is inspired by where there is deficit, and builds with what can be renewed. Eggi creates where (de)construction, collaboration, and whimsy meet, imagining a new visual language for a post-consumption era. Eggi’s inaugural product is a noteworthy departure from conventional playtime offerings. Made with post-consumer, closed-loop materials and characterized by playful sophistication, the Eggi Kitchen invites children to engage with their environment on their own terms. By providing space for hands-on interaction with real food materials and encouraging children to participate in the preparation of meals, Eggi helps children cultivate lifelong, playful, and healthy relationships with food.

Kristina Dam Studio defines sculptural minimalism by merging the artist's meticulous attention to detail with the architect's vision and spatial understanding.

The 2024 Collection ‘Journeys’ embodies a refined and distilled aesthetic, grounded in an exploration of form and material. Steel, increasingly favoured in the heart of Kristina Dam, brings beauty and strength, ensuring enduring quality for the pieces. The focus is on crafting items that are not just visually captivating but also highly functional, blending industrial intention with minimalist refinement.

Kristina Dam Studio’s passion for diligent craftsmanship is evident in every item, and each design is more than just an interior object – it adds a statement to any room.

3daysofdesign is an exclusive event that's inclusive of everyone. Where the press, bloggers, buyers, designers, architects and design enthusiasts, as well as the general public, are invited to experience new concepts from our curated selection of brands from Denmark and elsewhere around the world.

Contact Us

It all began in 2013 as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavian

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge – however for certain design talks and events, you need to book in advance. Please check the programme, which is updated on an ongoing basis, at 3daysofdesign.dk
