String Furniture is a Swedish design company that produces a number of modern classics and furniture brands. More than 95% of the furniture is made in Sweden, using renewable, recyclable or recycled materials. String has earned a place in design history thanks to the elegant simplicity and ingenious construction that can be put together in an infinite number of configurations and is just as modern as when it debuted in 1949. Pira G2, originally conceived by Olle Pira in 1954, in a contemporary interpretation by Anna von Schewen and Björn Dahlström in 2023. Museum, designed for the reopening of the Swedish National Museum and Relief, a modular system, by TAF Studio.

Swedish icon STRING turns 75 and we’re celebrating in style at 3daysofdesign! Designed by Nisse and Kajsa Strinning, the String shelving won its first design prize in 1949. To commemorate we produced a numbered series of the original design. RELIEF is a new modular system by the award-winning TAF Studio. The chest of drawers and hook rails has an understated elegance and can be combined in size and colour to suit different spaces and contexts, even as room dividers. CENTER CENTER is an exiting collaboration with Swedish design company FUWL. Made entirely of metal and with an unparalled modularity, it challenges conventions in office planning and interiors. Designed for a modern office where flexbility and collaboration are key.

All three floors of the impressive rococo building from the mid-1700, including the two wings, will offer space indoor as well as outdoor to national and international brands alike. In 2024, a total of 46 brands will exhibit at FRAMING, making it even bigger and more spectacular. Therefore, FRAMING expands to include exhibition space at the Harsdorff House on Kongens Nytorv 5, just a stone's throw away from the main exhibition in Bredgade. Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge – however this his year we're using a new QR ticket system to make your experience smoother and more enjoyable.
