Born of a cross cultural, post-national design sensibility, MAN OF PARTS was created for global nomads who appreciate craft but prefer a modern experience.

During 3daysofdesign - MAN OF PARTS brings together cross-cultural elements from their growing roster of international designers and introduces a collection of novelties at FRAMING, an exhibition at the Odd Fellow Palæet.

Savo, a Swedish chair producer, has innovation in its bones and in the back of every chair. They keep challenging the seating experience by pushing the envelopes of ergonomics and intuitive design and lives by the watchwords “reduce, reuse, repair, recycle.” Savo won the Red Dot Design Award in 2022 and, together with Form Us With Love, has been honoured in Fast Company Innovation by Design Awards 2023 and long listed for the workplace design category in the Dezeen Awards 2023.

For over 30 years, Desalto has nurtured a concept of aesthetically sophisticated products rooted in continuous technical and technological research aimed at enhanced functionality. With three decades of activity, Desalto stands as both a youthful and time-honoured brand—a dynamic spirit that seamlessly blends iconic seating and complements, resembling graphic forms sketched in the air, with tables as versatile as daily life itself. The narrative began in 1990 when the four Orsenigo brothers, heirs to a family metalworking business, envisioned a company more attuned to contemporary trends. They sought collaboration with designers, fostering diverse perspectives that align with the same corporate philosophy centred on fundamental values of harmony and elegance.

Hemverk is a collection of wall clocks that unite form and function with their minimalist Scandinavian style and simplicity. The design is clean, simple and elegant, the better to highlight the most important function of the clock: to tell the time. After all, time is the most important feature. All the clocks are produced and assembled by hand in a small workshop in Denmark, with great attention to detail. Every clock is made uniquely for each order, which ensures a responsible production process and avoiding overproduction. Their minimalist design gives our clocks a distinct character and there are many options for both clock hands and clock faces, combining colours and materials based on personal preferences.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.
