Dinesen is Denmark’s leading manufacturer of exclusive plank floors. The family-owned company was founded in 1898 as a sawmill with the highest standards for quality wood. Today, five generations in, Dinesen is a recognised and prestigious design brand. Quality, curiosity, and care for nature are the be-all and end-all for Dinesen, and each floor is custom-made in close consultation with the customers, including international designers and architects. The production takes place in Denmark, yet Dinesen floors are a source of well-being, calm and beauty in spaces worldwide – from private homes to large, public and cultural settings. This year, Dinesen is celebrating its 125th anniversary and the passion for wood that sprouted in 1898.

During 3daysofdesign, Dinesen x Christian+Jade present Weight of Wood - a playful, explorative exhibit to awaken your curiosity about wood. Weight of Wood is an exploration of the life of a tree and wood as a commodity. Dinesen’s showroom in Copenhagen will showcase tactile, balancing objects made of Dinesen wood, visualising wood's various weights and inviting you to touch, explore and interact with them.

Anotherchair -
Designers of today shaping the furniture of tomorrow.

The mission is to produce furniture for everyone designed by living designers.
Anotherchair design sustainable furniture for the future that are inspired by the time we live in, and for people living in our time.

There is a common thread through the designs of Anotherchair that tells a story – a story about a development process, refinement of a consistent idea; to shape functional, organic spectacle - and yet challenging forms: As a kind of "zoological form" - this is how Anotherchair imagines the furniture. As an organism of its own characteristic nature - this is how it calls to be created and invite the user to come closer - and use!

At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavian

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.
