Vibia exists to create beautiful atmospheres, utilizing lighting design to evoke meaningful responses that positively impact the human experience and enhance our sense of wellbeing. This purpose is a shared goal for all professional communities. Vibia aims to pioneer a new vision for lighting design by focusing on people's emotions, elevating interior design as a fundamental discipline for the cultivation of wellbeing, and providing a product portfolio with a unique blend of lighting effects. The company proposes a new approach to designing emotional atmospheres based on the creation of specific scenes according to the use of space over time and in parallel with control system design.

"Instantánea” by Vibia, is an exploration of light and life. The exhibition invites you on a journey through the Vibia world of lighting. Instantánea,” meaning ‘snapshot’ in Spanish, captures the essence of fleeting moments, turning them into lasting experiences with the magic of light. Vibia’s collection illuminates a series of life-like scenarios stripped from their complexities, presenting you with pure, abstract forms from everyday life. It’s not just about seeing; it’s about feeling, touching, and being part of the ambiance. The exhibition is an invitation to pause and appreciate the beauty of the moment, to see how light shapes our perceptions and emotions. Designed and curated by Note design Studio

Copenhagen-based design company FRIPON is relaunching the classic Philosopher Lamp, designed by the Danish architect Lars-Erik Ejlers in the early 1990s. The lamp was originally made for Restaurant Cap Horn in Nyhavn. In the following years, the lamp, designed with a notable brass shade, became a rarity due to very limited distribution but still found its way and is gracing iconic bars and restaurants throughout Copenhagen. FRIPON’s first endeavour is to breathe new life into the classic Philosopher Lamp, once again.

The Philospher Lamp is produced locally in workshops located in the metropolitan area of Copenhagen.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.
