Cosentino is a global manufacturer of sustainable surfaces for architecture, design and interior – and presents the 2024 launches of their two main brands, Dekton and Silestone. Inspired by natural stone, craftmanship and recycling and produced with renewable energy, the versatile, carbon-neutral collections meet current trends – and the creativity of architects and interior designers world wide. Cosentino will present the versatile technical, ultracompact stone, Dekton, and mineral hybrid surface, Silestone, as part of the curated exhibition to inspire through innovative and sustainable spaces as architectural facades, wall claddings, countertops and interior design.

Cosentino is part of the new exhibition concept, TRANSCENDENCE, curated by architect MAA Frederikke Aagaard, at Werkstatt 167, Refshaleøen. With the award-winning installation, EARTHIC® LAB, from Fuorisalone 2024, Cosentino showcases the results of an ambitious Silestone® research project on sustainable sourcing, production and design in partnership with the iconic, Italian design studio, FormaFantasma. Demonstrating the versatility of the company's carbon neutral, durable surfaces, Dekton® and Silestone®, for architecture and interior design, Cosentino at the same time sharpens the focus on a greener future and invites to explore new potential.

The Royal Danish Academy embodies the transformative potential of design and architecture within its Institute of Architecture and Design. Through the master's programs – Furniture Design, Strategic Design & Entrepreneurship, Spatial Design, and Fashion, Clothing, and Textiles – the institute investigates the intersection of design and architecture, as well as the relationship between human beings, spatiality and materiality.
The aim is to develop specific fields, as well as an in-depth understanding of interdisciplinary collaborations. With this ambition, the institute educates designers and architects who appreciate the value of diversity and collaboration and employ their methods, knowledge and skills to meet the challenges of tomorrow.

For over 100 years, GRYTHYTTAN has combined Swedish craftsmanship with Scandinavian design. The furniture is still made by hand from wood and steel in Grythyttan, making the chairs and tables extremely weather-resistant and ensure they last decade after decade. The characteristic rocking mechanism of the chairs is created by the special spring steel frame, also requires human craftsmanship. During 3daysofdesign, discover the new additions to the iconic A2 series, which has been an integral part of Swedish gardens since the 1930. LIBELLE launched in 2023 has been given a new colour spectrum for 2024. It’s a modern design by award-winning Norwegian designer Andreas Engesvik with a slim, welded construction giving the design a slender urban silhouette.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks.
