Ifö Electric is well renowned for their porcelain production in the south of Sweden. The company history started in the beginning of the 1900s next to the island Ivö, where the Kaolin clay was excavated. The company has played an important role in the Swedish industrial history with its production of fuse links, connection boxes, and durable porcelain luminaries. Their luminaires have become Scandinavian classics and can be found in many homes and institutions. Early designs by Sigvard Bernadotte, Knud Holscher, Duoform among others and most recently the series Ohm by Kauppi & Kauppi.

Ifö Electric is located in Bromölla, just beside beautiful lake Ivö, and has for more than 100 years invested in porcelain – the nature's own material.

Danish design owes a great debt to the Copenhagen Carpenters’ Guild, Københavns Snedkerlaug, founded in 1554 and still, after 469 years, supporting local craft based on the pillars of longevity, local production, handcraft and technology. For the second time, Københavns Snedkerlaug will be part of 3daysofdesign under the title “Carpentry Craft”. The guild exhibition showing unique pieces by master craftsmen, as well as work from Final Exams and apprentices and more established makers, will be held in the Moltke's Mansion, an impressive Baroque building in the center of Copenhagen.
