Abstracta have been working to create better soundscapes since 1972 – which makes them acoustics pioneers. Today, the brand offers a wide variety of solutions for different types of environments and requirements – from thoughtfully designed sound-absorbent screens and surfaces to innovative furniture with integrated acoustic characteristics. And in close collaboration with some of the world’s most influential contemporary designers, Abstracta is constantly exploring new ways to create better soundscapes. Abstracta manufacture the products in Småland, Sweden, and the customers are located throughout the world. Abstracta is part of Lammhults Design Group.

During 3daysofdesign, Abstracta will open a brand new showroom designed by Note Design Studio. Explore their take on the historic Kuglegården building and how modern design brings the space into a new era. In the new showroom, you will also find the furniture companies Lammhults, Ragnars and Fora Form, which are part of the Lammhults Design Group.

Swedish brand Maze produces furniture with a purpose. In close collaboration with Swedish manufacturers and craftsmen, around 90% of the production takes place in Småland, Sweden. Remaining 10% is made in Europe. Maze use wood from sustainable forestry, 100% recycled metal wire up to Ø 8mm (other metal consists of 15–40% recycled material), and leather from Scandinavian cattle from Elmo Leather, who use by-products from the meat industry and purifies, almost to perfection, their wastewater. Maze makes minimalistic and functional interiors for a stylish and smart home environment – with care from start to finish.

Wild Studio Cph is a Copenhagen based design studio creating sustainable and multifunctional furniture for children and adults. The collection they exhibit this year is inspired by one of the small wonders of the universe -the moon. It is made from 100% plastic waste, like water bottles, fishnets, and household sorting. All the products are manufactured in Denmark.
The company was founded by architect Rosa Nøss Bendixen, and even though the team has grown lately, it is still driven by the will to make good sustainable design. Wild Studio Cph adds color and playfulness to our surroundings while offering an environmentally sustainable alternative. The design is simple and sculptural and challenges our perception of the "raw" material.

Since its founding in 1960, Expormim has never stopped trusting the craftsmen who continue to transmit their knowledge from generation to generation. Their skills, passion and know-how, acquired after years dedicated to this noble profession, are undoubtedly the greatest secret to keep producing unique and exclusive pieces of furniture. The enhancement of rattan and the development of highly technical outdoor collections are largely responsible for the increasing success of Expormim’s products. They are committed to environmental sustainability, quality and good design, in cooperation with renowned architects and designers such as Oscar Tusquets Blanca, Jaime Hayon and Norm Architects.

Lysbilleder.com is a Copenhagen-based light-craft collaborative that creates installations exploring the materiality of light. These installations provide both functional and atmospheric lighting, but they essentially serve as an instrument for capturing light-particles, shivering in weightless motifs inspired by nature.
The manufacturing combines traditional craft and robotic prototyping, blending phenomenology and technology, in unique light pieces made from recycled acrylic glass.
Behind Lysbilleder stands renowned textile and light artist Dorte Østergaard Jakobsen and explorative architect Jacob Hilmer, in a collaboration that brings artistic exploration and prototyping processes together, resulting in unique visual and sensual works.
