Heymat, renowned for their innovative Scandinavian Design and high-quality materials, has been awarded the prestigious Red Dot Award 2023 for their Heymat Entrance system. The entrance system will be presented at this year's exhibition, alongside their brand-new collection of doormats, Grid.

New Works presents a collection at the intersection between old and new. Light and dark. Design and art. The collection pays homage to the strong Scandinavian history of craftsmanship and materiality, whilst challenging the contemporary forms of today. New Works collaborate with an international group of renowned designers and artisans, who display a matching fascination with sculptural forms and honest materials. These collaborative pursuits convey a love of the sensual, and of the bold.

Thorup Copenhagen is an independent Danish design studio, crafting furniture, lighting, and objects with a commitment to design excellence. MA. Furniture Designer Kasper Thorup employs an intentional and purposeful design method, drawing inspiration from classic and contemporary influences. Innovative production methods seamlessly merge with analogue traditions under Thorup's hands-on guidance, resulting in a cohesive aesthetic across high-end objects that signify a new era in Danish Design. The brand's distinctive focus on natural materials, unwavering quality, and artisanship underscores each creation. Tailored for everyday use, these tactile interior objects are crafted to elevate both individuals and spaces, leaving a lasting impact.

Founded in Denmark in 1872, Fritz Hansen is a global leader in indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, accessory design and production. Driven by a passion for beauty, quality, craftsmanship, and responsible manufacturing, the company embodies a modern Nordic lifestyle and collaborates with visionary artists, designers, and architects from around the world. 3daysofdesign is an exclusive event that's inclusive of everyone. Where the press, bloggers, buyers, designers, architects and design enthusiasts, as well as the general public, are invited to experience new concepts from our curated selection of brands from Denmark and elsewhere around the world.

It all began in 2013 as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavian

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks. All events are free of charge – however for certain design talks and events, you need to book in advance. Please check the programme, which is updated on an ongoing basis, at 3daysofdesign.dk
