Kay Bojesen was a silversmith and a craftsman, more than a designer. As a functionalist, he strived to create aesthetic utensils that function, perform and last. Kay’s ability to think ahead of his time and still stay true to his design values, has resulted in his works becoming Danish design icons. Today, Bojesen’s legacy is brought forward by his grandchild, Sus Bojesen Rosenqvist, who founded the company in 2011, relaunching the Grand Prix cutlery. The vision has always been to uphold Kay’s mindset of offering everyone the experience of his design. Kay Bojesen’s heritage is carried on, staying true to his philosophy, simultaneously as adapting the original designs to always stay relevant and sustainable - just like Kay was known to do.

In 2009 two designers, sharing a neo-modernist vision of functional, elegant design, decided to break free of PR-driven product strategies to create a furniture company focusing on the interplay between object and context. In order to realise their vision, they assumed control of the entire production chain – manufacturing, sales and marketing. This pioneering approach has paid off handsomely, not only in design clarity, but also in distinguished awards, renowned clients and representation in the permanent collection of the Swedish National Museum of Arts.

raawii was founded in 2017 by Bo Raahauge Rasmussen and Nicholai Wiig-Hansen and is based in Copenhagen, Denmark. The brand references the initials of their last names.

Both founders - one designer and educator, the other an economist and development expert - share the curiosity to work with creatives of different backgrounds and a deep passion for turning ideas into reality. Their ambition is to build a design platform using the power of creativity to contribute to cultural and social advancement.

Porcelain has been produced in Hasami for the past four centuries. Building on this heritage, Hasami Porcelain was born under the direction of Takuhiro Shinomoto. Clean lines, organic textures and multifunctional designs define the brand’s tableware. Inspired by traditional jubako tiered boxes, the modular products can be easily stacked for efficient storage. Passing through the hands of various craftspeople during the course of production, each piece is finally stamped by hand, completing its truly unique character.
