Dagmar showcases timeless Scandinavian furniture classics from the 20th century alongside contemporary designs, all produced with an unwavering dedication to quality craftsmanship. Their collection is made to order in small batches in Sweden and Denmark, using traditional joinery and upholstery methods mastered over generations and utilising only the finest materials. This approach ensures they create future heirlooms that will last a life-time. At the heart of the Dagmar collection is the iconic Clam Chair by Arnold Madsen; a unique piece of Danish design history, brought back to life with painstaking attention to detail.

For their debut exhibition at 3daysofdesign Dagmar will showcase highlights from their collection. Arnold Madsen’s daughter, Johna, will take part in a Q&A about her father’s life and work, including the creation of the Clam Chair in 1944.

For his brand named Sheyn, Vienna-based designer Nicolas Gold has created a range of intricately patterned homeware called Tiny Architecture that is made using 3D printing techniques.

Gold trained with Zaha Hadid before founding Sheyn in 2016 with partner Markus Schaffer to focus on creating what they term "Tiny Architecture" — homeware made with an architect's predilection for fussing over the tiniest details of furniture and fixtures.

The collection includes vases, bowls, planters and lighting, all made from a light, sturdy, and recyclable corn-based compound. Every design is 3D printed on demand at Sheyn's studio in the heart of Vienna.

Since its inception in 2013, Signe Byrdal Terenziani has facilitated the growth of the design community in her role as Managing Director. It all began as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavia.

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.

3daysofdesign takes place every year in Copenhagen mainly during the second week of June from Wednesday to Friday. In 2024 the festival will be held from 12 - 14 June.

Pack your bags, book a hotel and come to Copenhagen! 3daysofdesign is open to the general public and everyone is invited to visit the showrooms, exhibitions, workshops and design talks.
