Geberit has a long tradition of quality, reliability and innovation. Since its beginnings in 1874, the company has helped to shape industry developments with products behind the wall. But with the Geberit bathroom series, Geberit has a new look behind the wall and in front of the wall. The reliable technology behind the wall is united with perfectly designed bathroom equipment in a balance between elegant design and outstanding function. The products are easy to clean, easy to use and increase comfort. Geberit enables endusers to experience this new world for themselves and is constantly demonstrating new possibilities for bathroom design. That is what Geberit call Design Meets Function.

Nanette de Kool graduated from the Illinois Institute of Art, Chicago. Back in Europe she worked for textile studios in Antwerp and Amsterdam, where her love for 3D knits began. Nanette loves working with circular 3D knits: remains like leftover textiles and yarns including production flaws. Imperfections are part of the creation; tactility and the texture of the fabric add to her visual language. She screen-prints, washes, cuts and then re-assembles the textile, creating new compositions. This leads to more depth in color, character, texture and story. Next to wall-hangings, Nanette also makes suspended screens, room-dividers and made-to-measure pieces.

It all began in 2013 as a small design event held in an old warehouse in Nordhavn, a harbour area overlooking Copenhagen’s waterfront. Four Danish brands launched the event as a joint initiative: Montana, Erik Jørgensen (now owned by Fredericia Furniture), Anker & Co, and Kvadrat. At that time, Copenhagen lacked a proper design festival, since the previous annual furniture fair at Bella Center closed down some years before.

Today, the 3daysofdesign festival extends to the entire city of Copenhagen and is considered the most significant annual design festival in Scandinavian

Each year since its inception, 3daysofdesign has grown in popularity exponentially. In 2023, over 250 brands exhibited at the festival, where visitors could choose from as many as 500 events to attend in various design districts across Copenhagen, such as design talks, networking events, etc.
