Peace Industry creates high quality felt rugs that cater to design–conscious individuals seeking unique and sustainable luxury interior products. Ethical production and sustainability are at the heart of Peace Industry designs. All rugs are handmade by in–house artisans near Esfahan, Iran, with solely natural materials. By bridging the ancient craft of Namad felt rug making with modern designs the brand supports the preservation of the cultural heritage of the region while providing a high–end product unlike any other.

Stationed on the historical Gammelør ferry in Christianshavn area, the San Francisco-born brand Peace Industry invites the guests of this year’s 3daysofdesign to discover the ancient craft of Namad felt rug making. The exhibition showcases their signature double-sided rugs in various sizes, shapes, and natural plant-dyed colors. Visitors can explore traditional wool-combing tools, watch a documentary short film revealing the workshop process, and engage in tactile experiences with the natural wool and felt materials. Through their showcase, Peace Industry demonstrates how this declining nomadic tradition has been elevated into contemporary art while maintaining its authentic character in modern interiors.
