Verner Panton Design AG is a family-run company based in Basel, Switzerland. As the sole custodian and exclusive owner of all intellectual property rights to Verner Panton’s work and archives, the mission is to protect and preserve the artistic integrity, authenticity, and creative vision that defined his career. With over 70 years of continuous business, we honour Panton’s legacy through strategic collaborations, meticulous archival work, and a steadfast commitment to authenticity. We ensure that Panton’s spirit and creations continue to inspire and remain a relevant part of the contemporary design scene. For this we collaborate with museums, galleries, curators, collectors, trusted licensees and the media.
2026 marks the 100th anniversary of Verner Panton’s birth. To celebrate the occasion, Verner Panton Design AG, in collaboration with Designmuseum Danmark, is exhibiting a curated selection of Verner Panton's visionary designs. DAC (Danish Architecture Center) will mark Panton's 100th birthday with a new installation in the exhibition So Danish! Here, you will encounter several of Panton’s designs—including 81 Flowerpot pendants clustered in a chandelier–like formation. Furthermore, experience Verner Panton's original colour and light setting in the newly restored Cirkusbygning. Panton's designs can also be experienced in the showrooms and exhibitions of our official licensees and partners.
