Galleri Sonja is visiting from Bornholm. Once a saddle maker’s shop from the early 1800s, Galleri Sonja is now a place where craft, culture, and community meet in the gentle rhythm of slow living. The gallery is not only a space for experiencing art, it is also a space where knowledge of craft is shared and passed on. Through exhibitions and conversations, Galleri Sonja helps preserve and expand understanding of traditional and contemporary craft. Inspired by Bornholm’s nature and light, its tactile materials resonate with works by local and international artists. During 3daysofdesign, you can visit Galleri Sonja in Kvindernes Bygning.

CONNECTED | A DIALOGUE BETWEEN NATURE & CRAFT. Galleri Sonja joins 3daysofdesign from Bornholm with an exhibition exploring how raw materials become craft through an intimate dialogue with nature. For artists like Sara Martinsen, Von Linné Studio, Mette Skjærbæk and Cille Grosell, nature’s colours, forms and textures offer endless inspiration. Materials are gathered and shaped by human hands, revealing the deep connection between makers and their environment, an exchange where craft reflects care, creativity and place. Made by hand, filled with heart.
