HAUSMANN Furniture is a design studio dedicated to solid wood furniture and interior objects, operating between Barcelona and Copenhagen. Founded by designer and cabinetmaker Mike Hausmann, the studio explores the relationship between design, material, and construction. Rooted in traditional joinery, its work balances Mediterranean clarity with Northern European sensibility. Positioned between craftsmanship and contemporary making, the studio translates time-honored techniques into a quiet, wabi-sabi approach, creating furniture that integrates naturally into a space. The studio incorporates independent designer practices as well as custom projects with collaborative partners.

What started back in 2012 as a one–man show has now, in little more than a decade, become an established European design brand: Freifrau Manufaktur. Operating from Lemgo, a small town in Westphalia, Germany, this exclusive manufacturer of seating furniture is characterised by the highest possible levels of comfort, lovingly–rendered details, and exacting quality and sustainability standards. Working with big–name designers and those at the start of their careers alike, since it was founded, Freifrau has built up a portfolio of timeless chairs, armchairs, and settees, wide–ranging and yet all with a unifying emphasis on individual comfort, total versatility, and undeniable individuality.

Founded in Hong Kong in 2019, CHICHOIMAO is a woodworking studio co–founded by one human and two cats. Its name, 自在貓，Cantonese for a “cat at ease,” reflects a philosophy of in the moment. Although the Year of Singularity nears, the studio still believes human touch and emotional memories still count, preserved through analogue creations rather than digital ones. Every work is handcrafted with joinery techniques to honour minimalist forms and the tactile warmth of timber. These pieces bring harmony to modern homes, helping people slow down and find beauty in the lasting, soulful moments of the everyday.

Blå Station is a family business based in a former sewing factory in Åhus, on the south–east coast of Sweden, where the ocean is as restless as the brand itself. Their focus lies on the interiors that surround us—how they are built, how they function, and how people interact within public spaces. Questions about changing social behaviours and evolving demands continually inspire new ways of thinking. To meet contemporary needs and desires, Blå Station believes in maintaining an open and innovative mindset, guided by childlike curiosity and a firm rejection of shortcuts and apathy. Throughout history, tools have been crucial to humanity’s ability to survive and innovate, from primitive stone tools to advanced machinery, tools have been key to shaping the world. VÆRKTØJ is an exhibition format that aims to communicate and demonstrate how the identities of designers are largely shaped by the tools they use; as tools not only drive the development of ideas and creative processes but also leave a distinct mark on the final product.

Fucina Frammenti is a sustainable brand with an online shop focused on contemporary designs that prioritise material analysis and production processes. The brand aims to find new uses for Noble Waste—processed or semi–finished results—derived from the production cycles of other companies. This waste is repurposed through thoughtful design, creating new products with minimal energy expenditure while adhering to principles of disassemblability and monomateriality. This formula, called Noble Waste Mix, embodies a circular production–consumption–reuse model. Fucina Frammenti continually refines its practices through research, experimentation, and exploration of new materials, resulting in a constantly evolving product catalog.
