Patch Design is an eco–conscious artisan studio that blends sustainability with craftsmanship and advanced manufacturing. Drawing inspiration from the centuries–old tradition of repairing fishing nets, Patch Design creates artistic, collectible art pieces and furniture that honours the resilience of coastal communities. The plastic used is sourced from ocean waste. The studio's work merges cutting–edge technology with the artistry of traditional coastal handicrafts to produce unique pieces that address both the environmental challenges of ocean plastic waste and the preservation of cultural values. Through each creation, Patch Design aims to inspire a deeper appreciation for craftsmanship, sustainability, and the protection of our oceans.

Nordhus is home to 30 young cultural creators, offering not just housing, but also a platform for music, gastronomy and events as they transition into adulthood. Open six days a week, Nordhus hosts communal dinners, talks, concerts, quiz nights, and family activities. Everyone is welcome to join the community and experience its dynamic cultural scene. At its core is the main room with nearly 6–meter–high ceilings, blending sustainable materials and design to create an inviting, eco–friendly atmosphere.
