Designs Of The Time is a Belgian company founded in 1998 by the Puylaert family. Birgitte Due Madsen is a Copenhagen-based artist and designer working across furniture, objects, and sculptural form. Her practice centres on materiality, light, and aesthetics, exploring how structure and surface inform both function and perception. Working with materials such as gypsum, resin, wood stone, and concrete, she develops pieces through a process that moves from abstraction to precise realization. The work spans custom commissions, serial designs, and unique pieces, often produced in close dialogue with manufacturers. Defined by tactile textures, controlled colour, and a distinct geometric language, each object reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and a considered approach to form, material, and use.
