The mission consists of allowing extraordinary designers and artists to translate their signature style into tangible objects, in order to reinstall an aesthetic meaning to the tools and objects we use every day. Based in Australia, the company is run by designers who are dedicated to creating and producing unique products for design professionals and enthusiasts alike. DBT products are designed by Australian designers, developed in–house by the Design By Them team and produced worldwide. The brand’s growing curated collection of furniture, accessories and lighting is characterised by its unique Australian perspective, timeless aesthetic and distinct playfulness. Homo Faber Fellowship is presented by the Michelangelo Foundation for Creativity and Craftsmanship, a non–profit institution based in Geneva, which champions contemporary craftspeople worldwide with the aim of promoting a more human, inclusive and sustainable future.
