Operating from Lemgo, a small town in Westphalia, Germany, this exclusive manufacturer of seating furniture is characterised by the highest possible levels of comfort, lovingly–rendered details, and exacting quality and sustainability standards. Working with big–name designers and those at the start of their careers alike, since it was founded, Freifrau has built up a portfolio of timeless chairs, armchairs, and settees, wide–ranging and yet all with a unifying emphasis on individual comfort, total versatility, and undeniable individuality.

There is something really nice about getting up close—to the furniture, the makers, the production process. A. Petersen creates furniture with a focus on quality, craftsmanship and respect for professional expertise. Theor products are designed, developed and produced in Denmark. Furniture from A. Petersen is crafted with the intention to renew the Danish design tradition and carry it into the 21st century. Not in a grand or rapid way—for the sake of scale or tempo—but in a measured, serious way, for the sake of current time as well as posterity, because furniture should last a lifetime, and hopefully even longer. A good piece of furniture only becomes more beautiful through time and use, as lived life leaves its mark on the materials.

ØDELAND is a material and design project that transforms overlooked waste streams into new aesthetic possibilities. Based on high–fired ceramic landfill waste such as discarded toilets and sinks, ØDELAND works to rethink value, resources, and material cycles. Using sanitary waste, granite dust from quarrying, and pharmaceutical glass, ØDELAND is developing new ceramic expressions in which waste becomes identity, form, and narrative.

Kilzi means many things to its founder: it is his family name, weird in his context and a symbol of other lands, Kilzi is the family context and a story of immigration and personal growth, it also means ancient history and heritage, movement, renewal, childhood. In Jorge S Kilzi's eyes, his creations are an expression of who he is and of where his many experiences have taken him. Kilzi's work is honest and seeks to create emotional value. Some items find their worth in practicality, technology, comfort or decorations: Kilzi doesn't refuse any of the previous but seeks value in human connection through objects.
