BOMMA is a progressive Czech glass company, manufacturing handcrafted sculptural lighting. The installation highlights the original craft of glassmaking and shows the lights as an centrepieces of space, significant glass sculptures, fragile yet monumental. The exhibition is part of Design / Dialogue by Ark Journal. A new exhibition concept leading the way for the future of design, craftsmanship, and creative collaborations. For the first time during 3daysofdesign, Ark Journal brings together more than 20 international design brands and artists from all corners of the world. Skovby furniture is based on ideas of simplicity, functionality and great details. One of the great details is that Skovby only use sustainable wood. Another is a commitment to the original trade. Throughout the years, Skovby has educated more than 250 men and women within the ﬁeld of furniture production. With an inclusive staff policy, a ﬂexible senior policy and a constant ﬂow of around 10 apprentices, Skovby carry core values while also investing in the future. Skovby work hard and passionately each day to uphold the traditions of great Danish design. Skovby still produces furniture locally, in Denmark–strengthening and embracing the know-how and craftsmanship necessary for creating the ultimate the ultimate Danish design piece.

The passion for Danish craftsmanship and Danish design is rooted in traditions and a guiding principle to increase the sustainability of the Duus & Møller furniture collection. Duus & Møller collaborates with competent architects and combine Danish craft traditions with new ideas from young, talented cabinetmakers. Duus & Møller furniture is developed with inspiration from classic, Danish design. This is done through minimalistic models made from solid FSC–certified wood, handcrafted and cared for with a respect for the raw material. Duus & Møller furniture is made to last.

AOT is a small family–run design company based in Copenhagen. Driven by challenging materials, they aim to liberate these materials from what is expected of them. Inventing new hand–made processes is a core element of their practice where doing things the conventionally 'wrong' way, has proved to be ideal for creating things that are both original and classic. Things that are easy to read yet easy on the eye! AOT is both a design studio and a production house and everything they produce is made in Denmark — either in–house or with carefully sourced producers. This is a key part of AOT, as it enables their insistence and audacity to create things that are hand-made in Denmark and still affordable.

INDALO has two meanings in siSwati: 'nature' and 'to create.' This collective of craft artisans from Eswatini and European designers showcases objects created with sustainable natural materials. Organised by the International Trade Centre (ITC) and founded by the European Union (EU), this exhibition is centred around traditional skills and culture from the Southern African country. The Handcraft company Siyaphambili have collaborated with designers Delphine Meriaux, and Agathe Pautrot to bring new interior design objects to Europe. This collective brings empowerment and social recognition to their work as basket weavers. The Lutindzi grass they collect and weave is a sustainable resource that grows in the wild.
