Bundle Studio is a Copenhagen based design studio working at the intersection of material research and industrial furniture production. The studio develops furniture and objects through a hands on process where structure, material behavior and construction define the expression. The practice includes work with natural fibre composites and biobased adhesives. With a curiosity for new and bio based materials, each project explores how emerging materials shape form, tactility and use. Rather than applying a predefined style, the studio lets material logic guide proportion and detail. The work aims to support a gradual green transition within the furniture industry through design and long term collaborations with manufacturers.
Bundle Studio exhibits at Material Matters with an ongoing investigation into NeoLigno, a biobased adhesive developed by Stora Enso as an alternative to conventional formaldehyde–based binders used in veneer furniture and wood composites. The exhibition centres on a lounge chair assembled from form–pressed veneer shells using lignin-based glue, presented alongside material samples and development tests. The Studio also exhibits at Grouped on Islands Brygge, presenting Bale, a side table made from form–pressed flax composite. The project explores the structural and aesthetic potential of the material and investigates how a material without an established tradition can develop character through construction, joints and material behaviour.
