Thayra Correia is a design studio based in Lisbon that carries the name of its founder and creative director, the West African—born and raised designer, in 2023. The studio’s work is focused on longevity, and materials are the main element. They are responsible for bringing personality and soul to every piece; therefore, they play a key role during the development process of every project, ensuring their transience through time by being easy to maintain and preserve. Craft is the chosen production method; it keeps the brand human and makes every piece unique. The studio practice has extended to Bissau and is directed to local production and consulting.

For this year's edition, the studio is presenting a collection that hasfully developed and produced in Bissau, where she merges Panu di Pinti with Bissilon, TCHON. Panu di Pinti is one of the most relevant elements in Guinean culture, a handmade cloth that tells the story through images, texts and colours that are woven into it and is traditionally used in wedding ceremonies, funerals and tributes; It is an element of communication that changes according to the ceremony for which it is directed to. Bissilon (Kaya Senegalesis) is a typical wood from the country and similar areas known for its resistance and mutating beauty over time by the darkening process that goes from pink when fresh to dark brown to black over time.

Mikkel Nielsen is a Copenhagen–based design studio producing architectural lamps through 3D printing in bioplast. Each lamp is designed and produced in Copenhagen in small, limited series. The collection is defined by a clear formal logic: a single organic element repeated twelve times to form a balanced circular composition, creating a strong and recognisable identity. Production is intentionally kept small, allowing close control of material, surface, colour and light quality. The studio focuses on durability and long–term relevance rather than trends. At 3daysofdesign, the SSPL lamp is presented in 20 new colours.
