TOMOMI YOKOYAMA DESIGN

Founded in 2022, TOMOMI YOKOYAMA DESIGN is led by Japanese designer Tomomi Yokoyama. After years of honing her craft in the watchmaking industry, she has brought her expertise to the world of fashion design. This debut international exhibition marks a bold new chapter for the studio, centred on the theme of "Global Dialogue and Co–creation." By harmonising two different cultures and perspectives, Yokoyama aims to create designs that celebrate and respect cultural diversity.

THE SWISS ATELIER is Switzerland’s official presence at 3daysofdesign, celebrating the country’s innovative and refined approach to design. It takes place in two prime locations in the heart of the festival: THE EMBASSY ATELIER at the Embassy of Switzerland, and THE ORIGINAL COFFEE ATELIER at Original Coffee, Store Kongensgade 124, each offering a distinct experience that highlights Swiss creativity, craftsmanship and design excellence.

Jan Kath Design has revolutionised the world of rugs. For nearly 30 years, the brand has been shaping the international design scene with its work. While the creative language spans a broad spectrum, production remains deliberately rooted in tradition. Each carpet is crafted using centuries–old hand–knotting techniques in selected workshops in Nepal and India, certified for sustainability by the Swiss label STEP. Knot by knot, skilled artisans translate the designs into textile art. Only premium natural materials are used, including hand–combed Tibetan highland wool, fine Chinese silk, and Nepalese nettle. This balanced material composition gives the rugs a distinctive tactile quality and a deep, layered presence beyond the surface.

Atelier Vierkant is a Belgian family–run ceramics studio, founded in 1992 in Ostend, and recognised for its handcrafted design pots that marry artisanal tradition with contemporary aesthetics. Every clay piece is made, shaped and fired in Belgium, ensuring full traceability and a unique character that bears the signature of its maker. With an understated, organic design language and natural earthy tones, Atelier Vierkant pots function as both functional planters and architectural sculptures for indoor and outdoor settings.
