STRIDE is an emerging material-led design platform reimagining how waste streams and overlooked resources can shape the future of design. Operating at the intersection of textiles, circularity, and experiential learning, STRIDE develops workshops, research projects, and spatial collaborations that position material experimentation as both practice and proposition. Through hands-on processes and site-responsive thinking, the platform invites brands and cultural spaces to engage with sustainability as an evolving creative discipline.
In collaboration with 25hours Hotels, STRIDE presents a material–led exploration of circularity within a hospitality context. The exhibition centres on upcycling linen and bedsheets from the hotel, transforming existing textiles through natural dyeing and experimental processes. By introducing sea–based materials such as seaweed, the project investigates how original tactile surfaces can be altered, creating new possibilities for interior applications. An evolving archive of material experiments is shown alongside live workshops, inviting hands–on engagement and dialogue, and positioning the hotel as a space for sustainable design exploration.
