Barcelona–based design studio, Devon Liedtke, is a collection of objects for the here and there, thoughtfully designed and crafted in Europe. The collections span materials, from earthenware and charred wood to marble and onyx, united by a shared language of texture, tone, and form. Rooted in design and organic simplicity, the work honours the beauty of everyday rituals: a raku vase holding a single stem, a porcelain cup kept close at night, a carved bowl of salt at the table.
Design is not just the creation of objects, but the shaping of the atmosphere we live in. As part of the Openhouse exhibition ECHOES OF SPACE at The Conary, Devon Liedtke presents a collection exploring the emotional weight of materials and the rituals of daily life. Within this shared environment, his work in charred wood, onyx and earthenware, moves between sculpture and function. Styled by Henriette Shou, the installation encourages a slower pace, inviting attention to how intentional design, from a raku vase to a porcelain cup, becomes a connective thread in everyday living. Each piece reflects the rhythms of an honest, lived–in home, where form and use are inseparable.
