Birgitte Due Madsen is a Copenhagen-based artist and designer working across furniture, objects, and sculptural form. Her practice centres on materiality, light, and aesthetics, exploring how structure and surface inform both function and perception. Working with materials such as gypsum, resin, wood stone, and concrete, she develops pieces through a process that moves from abstraction to precise realization. The work spans custom commissions, serial designs, and unique pieces, often produced in close dialogue with manufacturers. Defined by tactile textures, controlled colour, and a distinct geometric language, each object reflects a commitment to craftsmanship and a considered approach to form, material, and use.

RUSSO BETAK, founded by Stefannia Russo (BR) and Søren Betak (DK), 3D prints biomaterials sourced from waste into lighting objects. The experimental approach to design emphasises a dialogue between digital precision and material intuition, bridging technology with craftsmanship. Using seashells collected from restaurants, they 3D print flat sheets and hand-sculpt them while warm to create designs that are reminiscent of classic design with a forward-looking twist.

It all started more than 125 years ago, with two families—the Miele and Zinkann families. The engineer Carl Miele and the businessman Reinhard Zinkann founded a company for the manufacture of cream separators in Herzebrock. Ariake is a Japanese furniture brand founded by Legnatec and Hirata Chair, two manufacturers from Morodomi, Saga Prefecture, each with over four decades of craft heritage. The brand takes its name from the Ariake Sea; "ariake" also means daybreak, marking a new chapter for its founding makers. Developed under the creative direction of Gabriel Tan, the collection brings together Morodomi's craftsmen and an international roster of designers, with the aim of creating new Japanese design icons. Each piece balances delicacy with structural precision, combining hand and machine production in equal measure.
