Yobiiro fuses traditional craftsmanship from regions across Japan with cutting–edge technology, transforming them into products that awaken the senses and emotions. It treats subtle shifts in light, scent, and temperature as colours that enrich everyday life. Like the first pour that draws water from a well, it invites new perception and awareness. Working with production regions, craftspeople, and technologists, Yobiiro explores forms of value beyond functionality or numbers—value meant to be felt. In doing so, it brings a first drop into daily life and sketches new possibilities for the future.

Japanese craftsmanship has been passed down across regions of the country and continues to be sustained today. While often perceived as unchanging traditions, craftsmanship has continuously evolved in response to the needs and sensibilities of each era. It can be understood as a cumulative practice in which advanced ideas of its time are embedded. This exhibition features a ZOZO NEXT project “Yobiiro,” that fuses traditional Japanese craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology. By collaborating with production regions, craftspeople, and technologists, the project asks: If Japanese craftsmanship were to be transformed by contemporary technologies, what kind of lifestyles could be made possible?

Confluentia Colorum is a site–specific installation presented by File Under Pop in Marmorkirken. It explores colour not as decoration, but as substance, energy and relation—formed through light yet experienced through the body as vibration, atmosphere and movement. Curated by Josephine Yaa Akuamoa, the work transforms the church into an immersive environment where colour is seen, felt and heard. Through art, craft, scent and sound, it reflects on presence, material awareness and colour’s power to shape emotion, perception and human connection.

FREITAG products are robust, functional everyday companions that, thanks to a range of repair and exchange services, can expect an even longer, more fulfilling life. The headquarter is in Zurich, where a large part of the truck tarpaulins are disassembled, washed, and cut to size. The company also runs 30 FREITAG Stores worldwide, a Zurich–based Online Store, and its products are available at over 220 retail partners globally.

Kvik’s originality comes from redefining how people live in their kitchens. Since 1983, Kvik has focused on human connection, not just cabinetry—coining and trademarking the term Samtalekøkken® long before open–plan living was a trend. That idea—bringing conversations, family, and daily rituals into the heart of the home—has since become the global standard. Kvik designs with purpose: every line, material, and surface has intent, evolving the concept it pioneered while keeping it human–centred and true to Danish design values. Kvik keeps it fresh by collaborating with leading Danish designers like Rikke Frost, Hans Thyge, Says Who, and supporting rising talents such as Annika Hoffmann and Bly Studio.
