The French Embassy in Denmark is located in the Thott Palace, a remarkable 17th century historical building on Kongens Nytorv, in the heart of Copenhagen. The palace has housed the embassy for a century, and has since its origins been a symbol of the strong ties between France and Denmark. All year round, the Embassy opens its doors to the public on the occasion of various cultural events and has showcased French designers as part of 3daysofdesign every year since the festival began. Institut français is the French cultural center in Denmark, and also functions as the French Embassy's cultural department. The institute's mission is to promote French culture, language and research to the Danish public.

During 3daysofdesign, the French Embassy in Denmark, LE FRENCH DESIGN and the Mobilier National are proud to present the exhibition “RÉSURGENCES” in the historical reception rooms of the Thott Palace. After being successfully presented in Paris, this exhibition brings to the festival's audience a curated selection of iconic pieces by the great masters of 20th–century French design, faithfully reissued by leading contemporary houses. Among the highlights are five major prototypes developed within the Atelier de Recherche et de Création (ARC) of the Mobilier National. It celebrates unparalleled craftsmanship and highlight the legacy and contemporary innovation of French design on the global stage. Book a spot at: bit.ly/4nwCdr0

RARERAW is a modular furniture brand that moves beyond fixed forms, allowing its systems to be flexibly interpreted in the space between structure and sensibility. Rather than viewing furniture as a finished object, RARERAW understands it as a structural unit that shapes space. Each module functions as part of a larger framework that evolves through use, interaction, and context. Designed to respond to changing environments and lifestyles, the system encourages openness rather than prescription. As spaces change, RARERAW adapts—inviting users to reconfigure, reinterpret, and gradually complete the system over time.

2050 Furniture is a gentle rebellion for nature, people, and the future. Today’s conventional furniture industry is resource–intensive and highly centralised. Valuable local resources—such as wood waste—remain underutilised, while many people are excluded from the workforce. 2050 Furniture is created to question and even change this system. This new furniture production transforms local wood waste into high–end furniture through cooperative, local production that fosters inclusive and meaningful employment. 2050 Furniture scales through new furniture series developed in new communities, expanding a local, circular, and regenerative model of production. 2050 Furniture is Doughnut economics in practice.

Japan Creative is a non–profit organisation composed of members who are involved in the field of design and engaged in material research. When one traces the process by which everything is created, one finds that its origin lies in the materials. As those who are involved in design in Japan, blessed with rich diversity of materials, Japan Creative focuses on the inherent backgrounds, characteristics and potential of materials themselves, reevaluating their value through a designer’s perspective. Japan Creative believes that only by understanding how materials are shaped by the unique natural environments and climates, and how they are situated, can it move beyond superficial expression and create designs with necessity and sustainability.
