Brighton based Spark & Bell is a B Corp lighting design studio that is pioneering a new era of sustainable lighting, combining community focused craftsmanship with quality and responsible materials in its contemporary design pieces. Championing circular design principles in daily practice, Spark & Bell supports domestic suppliers and collaborates with local artisans working in wood, ceramics, cork and jesmonite. It has also taken to developing materials from sources headed for landfill, in their Brighton workshop. This appreciation for local heritage craft and dedication to sustainability is resonating with a growing customer base that values both environmental responsibility and unique aesthetics.

B Corp lighting design studio Spark & Bell, is showing its 'Seraphín' chandelier at Material Matters Copenhagen, part of 3daysofdesign 2025. 'Seraphín' is a multi–tiered chandelier that uses crystalline drops made from Spark and Bell’s unique 'Jewel' recycled plastic, giving an ethereal quality to its cascading, multi-tiered design. Designed and hand-assembled in Spark & Bell’s Brighton workshop, 'Seraphín' is a statement light that stays true to the studio’s mentality of responsible material use and enduring quality by chipping and forming over 8kg of unwanted CD cases, otherwise headed for landfill, into beautiful crystalline lozenges.
