The exhibition encourages you to form and refine with courage, and to unlock fresh interior perspectives by engaging all your eight senses: sight, touch, smell, taste, hearing, movement, balance, and body awareness. Modern Metier is a French design platform with a curated selection of contemporary brands and progressive designers. Working with talents from Paris to Stockholm, the platform represents a select roster of European designers, each distinguished by a singular perspective and original point of view. The name “métier,” drawn from the French word for craft, reflects the studio’s commitment to quality and enduring craftsmanship. In 2024, Modern Metier introduced its first collection of furniture and lighting named 'Solstice' in collaboration with French designer Léa Zeroil. Each piece is developed in close dialogue with the designer and local artisans specialising in woodwork, ceramics, upholstery and metalwork.

Magnus Olesen develops and manufactures high quality furniture in cooperation with leading designers and architects. The result is a functional, aesthetic and unique design that enhances the spaces where it’s placed—whether it’s in smaller interiors or for large conceptual architectural purposes. The company was founded in 1937 with a strong belief in Danish craftsmanship ever since. Durability and quality are core values in Magnus Olesen, with the mission to create high quality and sustainable design furniture. The company has its production in Durup, Denmark and a showroom in the beautiful surroundings of Marmorkirken in Copenhagen.

Örsjö is founded on simple values and strong convictions, dedicated to developing and handcrafting premium lighting in its local factory with the sincere ambition of leaving the best possible mark on the planet. Handcrafted objects carry an intangible sense of human touch and warmth—a connection between creator and user that is often lost in industrial production. For this reason, craftsmanship lies at the heart of Örsjö’s work, with local artisans involved across the entire product range. Welding, soldering, bending, polishing, painting, assembling, glass blowing, and leather carving all take place either in Örsjö’s own factory or in trusted workshops within the region. Ultimately, Örsjö strives to create products designed to outlast their makers and contribute positively to the world.

On the occasion of 3daysofdesign, Johan Borups Højskole opens the doors to its historic mansion in Copenhagen’s Cultural District, inviting visitors to explore the graduation showcase by emerging Nordic voices. This semester’s final exhibitions feature a project from Design & Ceramics—an artistic education where tradition meets contemporary culture in an open, exploratory atmosphere. Set within the school’s historic courtyard and interiors, the showcase highlight the culmination of a semester shaped by dialogue, curiosity, and craftsmanship. Founded in 1891, Johan Borups' is a Danish ‘højskole’—a creative community based on growth, collab and reflection.

Design Studio Lars Vejen is a multidisciplinary design practice based in Denmark and Japan. His work spans a broad spectrum of design disciplines, with a primary focus on furniture, urban elements, lighting, building components and home accessories, realised in close collaboration with traditional craftsmen and established industries. Working at the intersection of architecture and design, he develops products with a profound dedication to people, human interaction and architectural context, where form, function and enduring quality remain fundamental. His work seeks to create design that is of its time, with the ambition to endure as the classics of tomorrow. June 7th 2026, Lars Vejen marks his 30th anniversary as a practising architect.
