SMALLrevolution is a Copenhagen–based design and manufacturing studio working exclusively with recycled plastic. The studio develops controlled material streams from defined industrial waste, transforming them into specification–ready materials and objects for architecture and interiors. By combining sourcing, processing, and design, each output carries a clear material origin and consistent performance. The work challenges the perception of plastic as disposable, repositioning it as a material with structural value and long–term relevance within contemporary design.

At 3XN GXN, SMALLrevolution presents a material–led installation exploring recycled plastic as a designed resource rather than waste. The exhibition brings together objects developed from household/industrial waste streams, where origin, composition, and performance are embedded into the final expression. The work draws only on the material’s inherent properties, allowing colour, texture, and characteristics such as photoluminescence or fire resistance to carry through as retained qualities. Set within the 3XN GXN studio, the installation shows how recycled plastic moves from waste to specification–ready material, where material value and form are developed in direct relation to one another.

EETAL is a project launched in 2021 by Japan Benex Corporation, a company specialising in precision sheet metal processing technology. Through collaborations with designers, it reconsiders the creative potential of sheet metal from multiple perspectives. Embracing an experimental approach, the project challenges conventional notions of industrial production and explores new dialogues between sheet metal and design. The name "EETAL" originates from "SHEET METAL." It combines "EET" from "SHEET" and "TAL" from "METAL," forming a coined term that symbolises the new form of sheet metal they strive to create.

Jan Kath Design has revolutionised the world of rugs. For nearly 30 years, the brand has been shaping the international design scene with its work. While the creative language spans a broad spectrum, production remains deliberately rooted in tradition. Each carpet is crafted using centuries–old hand–knotting techniques in selected workshops in Nepal and India, certified for sustainability by the Swiss label STEP. Knot by knot, skilled artisans translate the designs into textile art. Only premium natural materials are used, including hand–combed Tibetan highland wool, fine Chinese silk, and Nepalese nettle. This balanced material composition gives the rugs a distinctive tactile quality and a deep, layered presence beyond the surface.

Since its founding in 2019, RYE has pursued a considered approach to bedroom design. Drawing on historical references and analogue traditions, the brand's focus is not on what a bed can do, but on what a bed should be—a quiet refuge that frames sleep through an emphasis on slowness, sculptural silhouettes, and tactile depth. Each piece is produced at RYE's own manufacturing facilities in the Danish Lake Highlands, where skilled craftspeople work with a range of locally sourced materials, to create a collection of bedroom furniture, mattresses and pillows.
