Ark Journal is an independent print magazine, capturing the essence of the Scandinavian lifestyle and design values. It is a curated magazine, rooted in a passion for art, design, architecture, and culture. Ark Journal believe that by investigating the interplay of these fields they show their interrelated and combined power. Made in collaboration with international writers, renowned photographers and stylists, creating original photography and exceptional visuals, it is a journal of inspiration and a source book. Ark Journal is the cornerstone of an international platform, encompassing editorial collaborations, a digital gallery, an online shop, design exhibitions and global events.

Design / Dialogue by Ark Journal is a new exhibition concept leading the way for the future of design, craftsmanship, and creative collaborations. For the first time during 3daysofdesign, Ark Journal brings together 20 international design brands and artists from all corners of the world. Curated by the team behind Ark Journal, the focus of this exhibition is to promote high-quality design and to show new products in an inspiring and relevant way. TABLEAU is a Copenhagen-based design studio founded in 2018 by Julius Værnes Iversen. Operating at the intersection of art and design, the studio works across spatial design, curation, and object creation, bringing together artists and designers to blur boundaries between functional and expressive. Secolo, based in Milan, creates contemporary design rooted in artisanal expertise and high-quality, locally sourced materials. Defined by sculptural forms, refined detailing, and functional elegance, all pieces are 100% made in Italy.

Established in 1980, Linie Design is a Danish design house with traditions deeply rooted in Scandinavian design. Today, Linie Design is one of the largest developers of handmade rugs in Europe, sold in over 70 countries, including in their own brand store in Copenhagen. All rugs are handmade in India by skilled weavers and crafted from carefully selected materials, chosen for their durability and unique properties. With great respect for craftsmanship, Linie Design continuously challenges traditional weaving and knotting techniques, pushing creative boundaries in the development of new designs by experimenting with materials, shapes, and textures.

Experts in sourcing and curating handmade and exclusive tiles from small local producers worldwide, MAROKK is passionate about finding and curating unique tiles for true tile enthusiasts. The tile collections from Japan, India, Morocco and Italy are designed to blend global style with Scandinavian aesthetics. The showroom is situated in a 300-year old listed space in the historical central Copenhagen, and displays a vast variety of exclusive tiles from all around the world, adapted to the Scandinavian and global market by MAROKK.

Damixa is rooted in Danish design and creates refined, built–to–last kitchen and bathroom tap–ware. Part of FM Mattsson Denmark, the brand has delivered tap–ware since 1932. The focus is on clean forms, precise proportions, durable finishes and responsible water use, with solutions designed to help reduce water and energy consumption without compromising comfort. The range is developed with project specification in mind, offering a coherent design language across spaces and applications. At 3daysofdesign, Damixa presents aesthetic collections of taps, showers and accessories for indoor and outdoor settings, made for architect–led projects and long–term visual appeal.

Based in Uji, Kyoto, Asahiyaki is among the oldest ceramic kilns in Japan, having crafted tea wares in the same family for 425 years. This rich history provides a unique perspective of time. Clay used today was extracted two generations ago, just as new clay is prepared for future generations. Tea vessels are not considered complete when they emerge from the kiln; they reach fulfilment gradually, through years of daily use. Besides making artistic pieces for the tea ceremony and sencha wares for daily use, Asahiyaki collaborates with global brands and restaurants on bespoke tableware collections. Every piece is thrown by hand on the pottery wheel by skilled artisans.
