Swedese is a classic Swedish furniture producer with a strong anchor in both the public and domestic domain. Swedese's ideals are the same today as they have been for the past 80 years. These are to create beautiful furniture for the future, which build on the foundations of Scandinavian modern traditions, designed by forward–looking designers who share in the timeless ideals of architecture. Swedese was founded in 1945 by the two brothers Yngve and Jerker Ekström and Bertil Sjöqvist, under the company name ESE Möbler. The headquarters are located at Vaggeryd, in Sweden, together with one of the factories. The second factory is located in Äng, a small village outside Nässjö, Sweden.

During 3daysofdesign Swedese will showcase the results of a creative year in which the company continues to develop and manufacture new furniture together with renowned and successful designers. The Serpentine easy chair began with an S–shaped curve sketched in pencil and an instinctive feeling, signed Broberg & Ridderstråle. That sinuous line gradually evolved into a slender armchair lifted by delicate steel legs. Origin is a series of sofas and armchairs defined by soft, rounded forms. The shaped, externally mounted legs and the sculptural seams along the armrests play a central role in the expression.

The system of worktables, wall and storage modules combines and adapts easily to different working styles and spaces. Intuitive and functional in use, restrained and clear in expression, open to individual configurations.

Who inspires them in the process? People like you, who share their enthusiasm for beautiful things and attach as much importance to noble design as to high-quality workmanship.
