A Danish design brand, and concept store founded in 1953 in the heart of Copenhagen by Hagbarth Skjalm Petersen and his spouse Lisbeth Westergaard. A center for home interior and lifestyle items designed to inspire to an aesthetic and more sustainable lifestyle. The original design philosophy of H. Skjalm P. is still focusing on sustainable production and natural materials, notably the organic GOTS certified textiles. The H. Duus & Møller collaborates with competent architects and combine Danish craft traditions with new ideas from young, talented cabinetmakers. Duus & Møller furniture is developed with inspiration from classic, Danish design. This is done through minimalistic models made from solid FSC–certified wood, handcrafted and cared for with a respect for the raw material. Duus & Møller furniture is made to last.
